Thai
Located on the way to Chao Samran Beach before arriving the Rajabhat University (near Big C). A bit hard to find - tucked away in a side road. Offers a range of dishes with a bit of a southern Thai taste, which explains the numerous chili pastes and curries available. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-5:00pm.

Come here, yes! - Edit
This place is great. Typical Jae food, but a huge amount of options. All really delicious. They're open later than most Jae places, until 6pm

worth stopping over in phetchaburi - Edit
many people drive through phetchaburi on their way towards south, a few probably stop to see the palace. for the vegetarians among those who stop over, it was hard find find something to eat.
Read morewith the discovery (and listing) of anutra je phetchaburi may even be a good place to stop over if the palace isn't on your agenda. just for some great choice of traditional thai (vegetarian) dishes.
(no english spoken, no printed menu. you just pick from the pot)
Pros: great chili pastes (southern style), rather impressive choice of ready to eat dishes, great taste
Cons: a bit hard to find
