Tasty vegan options are not a pipe dream at the Tlacolula Sunday market

I went expecting to find ingredients only, and to need to eat my granola bar on the bus on the way back to Oaxaca, but no! These lovely Mexicans welcomed me gladly and knew exactly what to do for a vegan. They suggested the huarache, which is what I decided to get. It was a little spicier than I prefer, but it burned soooo good.

Pros: Any unexpected tasty vegan option is great!, Inexpensive (40 pesos), Place to sit in the shade at a table

Cons: Only a couple of vegan options , It’s inside the large market, at a park area.
