Decent Vegan Pub Grub, Dog Friendly. - Edit
Antelope Inn is a Sizzling Pubs restaurant and bar and is situated beside the spectacular Menai Suspension Bridge. They run a typical chain pub menu and also offer delivery through Just Eat. The pub is extremely dog friendly, but I did inform them that a dog would be a part of our party when booking a table online. Antelope Inn also offers free parking. I parked in the euro car park to the side of the pub and entered my registration on the tablet once inside.
Read moreAll the vegan options on the menu are labelled both online and in the restaurant, and if ordering through QR code link rather than at the bar, there is an option to filter to only the vegan options. During my visit, some of the vegan options were:
- Chopped Salad Bowl
- Rainbow Lasagne
- Veggie Flatbread
- Pumpkin and Spinach Burger
- Citrus Pea Bites (Side)
- Vegetable Samosas (Side)
- Lemon and Raspberry Mouse
- Bramley Apple Pie
- Simply Pasta, Sunshine Rice and Salad, Beans or Peas (Kids)
I had the Rainbow Lasagne and a side of Citrus Bites. Everything was well presented and well prepared. The lasagne could have done with more vegetable filling, and I found the portion to be a bit small, so I am glad I also got a side. There are better quality independent eateries with vegan options in both Bangor and Menai Bridge, but if you're after something predictable and reliable where you can also bring a furry friend, Antelope Inn could be a good option for you.
