Great food, but such a dirty place - Edit
There are a great variety of vegan options, and we loved all of the ones we got to try! 🌱🥪 Definitely will be visiting this chain again. 🩷
Read moreHowever, I have been here on two occasions a few months apart and both times the place was very, very dirty. The bathrooms were clammy and sticky and I could tell they simply used the wrong cleaning techniques, only making the place appear less clean even when cleaned.
There was a lot of food on the floor as well as the tables. It just doesn't allow you to sit very comfortably.
The staff is incredibly friendly on the other hand which gives a pleasant feeling! 💕✨
If I find the place to be cleaner next time I visit, I will update my review and give them 4 stars, because the food deserves it. 🧽🫧

They have quite a few vegan breakfast and lunch options, which are clearly marked on the menu. Order via qr code, but also possible to order from staff. Spacious place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Delicious vegan croissants - Edit
I'm a big croissant fan and since becoming vegan I'm always on the hunt for a good plant based one. Anne&Max stocks a delicious version s their standard croissant which is well worth a try. There's plenty of other vegan options on the menu, and they also highlight environmentally friendly meals separately on the menu. Wines and beers are vegan as standard. Definitely recommend.

Heerlijke high tea voor 2. €25,50 per persoon met uiteraard onbeperkt thee. Het was erg lekker. Enig min puntje, duurde 45 minuten voordat het op tafel kwam, vandaar 4 sterren ipv 5.

Huge and ‘gezellige’ Anne & Max - Edit
This is a nice branch of Anne & Max with sufficient vegan options. I think it’s the largest Anne & Max I’ve visited, although there are some big ones in Utrecht and The Hague as well.
Read moreWe tried the apple pie and the croissant with vegan butter and red fruit jelly, which were all tasty. The almond cookie that came with our hot beverages was good as well. I also enjoyed the chao latte with oatmilk: mildly sweet and tasty.

Delicious club sandwich - Edit
This spacious Café is just opposite of Bagels&Beans. We had the "Very Vegan Club" Sandwich and the vegetable garden Oat Cracker. The sandwich with the vegan bacon and smoked tofu was very tasty and cut in two parts, which we shared (would have been to much for me alone), the oat cracker was also good, but not filling enough for lunch.

I had the vegan lunch for two and it was very tasty. There were a lot of vegan options on the menu and often non vegan meals could be veganised, which was clearly stated on the menu. The lunch for two that we had was also not originally vegan, but it was possible to order a vegan variant which is what we did.
