Salty - Edit
Tiny spot in the Foreside and have only gotten takeout since the pandemic. Unfortunately, I’ve never walked away with a “wow” or having an excited belly. Staff is knowledgeable, but when things are removed or altered due to dietary restrictions, it’s really just a salty bowl of noodles with some veg. I just haven’t been inspired, and have really wanted to be. For the price, I’m not motivated to return and enjoy Green Elephant’s noodle bowls more. Although I have yet to find truly exciting vegan noodle bowls in the area. Maybe being gluten free is too much of a challenge.

Terrible Dining Experience - Edit
I had the WORST dining experience! We waited TWO HOURS for our meal and when my friend got his it had a live bug in it - not a fly or anything - literally looked like a potato bug. Then when I very politely asked the server for a *discount* and he was very rude to me. And it wasn’t like the servers were running around stressed… no one was getting their food so the servers were literally sitting around relaxing. The food was too salty and extremely expensive. Would not recommend

Very Salty and Not a lot of flavor - Edit
Staff is great with knowing what vegan means and how to veganize the dishes but the food just lacks flavor and I think that they try to hide that with using a lot of soy sauce or salt. I want to love this place but this is the second time I have been majorly disappointed- I would recommend going over the bridge into Portsmouth to Green Elephant !

Cute restaurant, delicious food - Edit
Atmosphere: Cozy, good for date night

Food: Great! The menu isn’t huge, so there were only 5 vegan options when I was there, but I got 4 of them and they were all delicious. My favorite was the tofu yellow curry, which has a thin but very flavorful broth. The consistency was like ramen, but it was really good. Our server also made sure to point out a couple items that could be made vegan, which I appreciated.
Their Facebook page has a more current menu, so I suggest going there instead of their website. I was bummed that they didn’t have veggie buns, but was happy with our food and experience!
Pros: Flavorful vegan options
