Everything can be made vegan, they are re-doing their menu, owners have been vegetarian since 90s and their kids are vegan.

"Everything can be made vegan" is music to our ears! Loved the 80s theme, too. We tried the meatball sub and calzones and were very satisfied.

Delicious vegan pizza! 5 stars!! - Edit
This is the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Vegan pepperoni and other "meats", gooey, melty cheeze and delicious crust with all kinds of herbs. The family owners are all vegetarian or vegan and are super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is awesomely 1980s covered with neon, '80s movie posters/paraphernalia, and even a Pac Man arcade game. I highly, highly recommend to anyone!

Five Stars - Edit
Anika’s is a gem with the best tasting vegan options we’ve ever experienced at a pizza shop. They will create whatever meal you want plant-based and you can tell they enjoy the creativity. I asked for them to make a vegan Italian hoagie, chicken cutlet hoagie, and meat lovers pizza. They let us know what brands they use incase we have preferences. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

They can make anything vegan! - Edit
They have vegan nuggets, onion rings, all their pizzas can be made vegan! This is definitely a stop if you’re in the area. The owners are vegan/vegetarian. They do serve regular items too but they love their vegan options. 5 stars! I give them five stars but I’m only allowed to give them for on this app because they serve meat, per the app.

White pizza was so good - Edit
Super nice family who owns this pizza place! They told us that they are vegetarians and their children are vegans, so they take vegan options very seriously! The menu says at the top in tiny letters that almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. I got the white pizza and it was deeeeelish. Wish I lived closer!

Pleasant Surprise! - Edit
A vegan, a vegetarian, and an omnivore want to order takeout…sounds like the set up for a joke or a logistical nightmare! We were pleasantly surprised that all three of our comfort food cravings were satisfied at Anika’s Pizza. I (the vegan) got a steak and cheeze sub made with Beyond Steak Tips and it was so delicious! I wish it were more obvious from the menu what items can be substituted for vegan alternatives, but I will definitely order from Anika’s again!
Read morePros: Great customer service , Knowledgeable staff, Lots of vegan substitutes
Cons: Vegan options aren’t specifically listed on menu, Not open during the week currently

I'd give 5 stars if HappyCow Allowed it - Edit
We stopped in for the first time today and ordered a vegan pepperoni and cheeze pizza! The pizza was large, and the crust was pleasantly seasoned! It was one of my favorite pizzas that I have ever had. The dining experience was also fantastic - the place has fun decor and comfy booths to eat at - the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to vegan food!! I will absolutely be planning all my future adventures in the lakes region around this place!

Thrilled to have a delicious vegan option in the Lakes Region! - Edit
I’ve spent summers in Moultonborough for my entire life. When I became vegan about 15 years ago, I just assumed I’d always be cooking my own meals up here, since the dining options are pretty standard American fare - veg*n options are few and far between.
Read moreAccordingly, I was surprised and excited to check HappyCow this year, see Anika’s, and finally get to try it today! As other reviewers have mentioned - and as the super-friendly owners confirmed in a brief chat while I was picking up my order - Anika’s is run by a family of vegans and vegetarians, and can make almost everything on their menu vegan (only current exception is the cheesesteak, but the owner says he’s considering experimenting with seitan in the future; sign this native Philadelphian up!!). The customized pizza I got with peppers, onions, olives, herbs, vegan cheese, and vegan pepperoni was so delicious, both hot right after I picked it up and cold when I snuck an extra slice afterwards. 😋
They clearly put a lot of care and effort into making good food for all their customers, from importing authentic Amoroso’s hoagie rolls to having a vegan swap for almost everything. Can’t wait to make Anika’s a part of my summer routine and try even more!
Pros: TONS of vegan options, Delicious pizza, Friendly owners; fun decor

Amazing Vegan / Veg Family Owned Restaurant! - Edit
I wish Happy Cow would allow me to give this 5 stars, because it genuinely deserves 5 stars! This fun 80s themed restaurant is the perfect place to stop by when you’re around Lake Winnipesaukee. My partner and I are vegan and come up to the area several times a year. We were originally convinced no vegan places existed up here so we were SOOO excited to stumble upon this place! The family that owns Anika’s Pizza are vegan / vegetarian and are so incredibly friendly, kind, caring, and accommodating. Majority of the offerings on the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian. I believe they mentioned that the menu is non-vegan by default due to the lack of a vegan community in the area. But you can tell that they absolutely love any vegan / vegetarian customers that come through and they look forward to veganizing their offerings for them! My partner and I got vegan meatball subs and were given a choice of the type of vegan cheese we preferred on the subs as well as vegan parm to sprinkle on top. Our meal was incredible! We immediately shared our experience with our vegan friends and we cannot stop gushing about this place. We literally only just visited an hour ago lol. We cannot wait to come back and try more of their vegan creations and can’t wait to see what new things they create as well! We hope more vegans stumble upon this absolute gem on their visit to the area. We are rooting for this place!!! Thanks for such a great experience!

Thank you so much for your kind review. The funny thing is, we came up here from the seacoast about 4 years ago and were frustrated by the lack of vegetarian options. When we decided to buy this place, we were excited by the opportunity to create a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Originally, we were going to be just veg, with some dairy options, but unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to stay open that way. I'm know that's different in others areas like Los Angeles, Boston, or NY, but in NH, there isn't the same amount of customers and ultimately, if we could only serve vegetarian food, we would prefer it. Though our hours are what they are right now, people are always welcome to leave us a message, we make exceptions as we live near by.

Vegan/Vegetarian owned - Edit
I would give this place a 5 if I could. Just about the entire menu can be made vegan and the owned talks about adding even more options. Definitely underadvertised as vegan. This place is a gem!!

Thanks for your review! Our family is all vegetarian or vegan, and we go out of our way to make sure we have options that we never had as visitors of other restaurants. We look forward to your visit next time!
