Angeline's Bakery and Cafe

I have ordered vegan carrot cakes/cupcakes from Angeline's for my husbands birthdays for years because they are consistently delicious, moist, and nutritious! Service is always friendly and professional. The vegan cinnamon rolls are also outstanding!

It's July 14, 12:00 noon on the day of the famous, annual "Sister's Quilt Show" . The town is inundated with thousands and thousands of people who walk the town looking at all the quilts. Eventually these thousands and thousands of people become hot, tired, hungry, thirsty and some even become grumpy. It they are lucky they will find themselves at Angeline's Bakery & Cafe just as we did. The kale salad and quinoa salad were the best I have ever eaten! The amazing thing was to watch the friendly, efficient, patient staff serve the never ending line of customers. No matter how grumpy or impatient a customer was the staff treated them joyfully and respectfully. At one point one of the cash registers was acting up and yet the ladies behind the counter never became flustered or frustrated - they handled the situation with humor and joy. This was a great experience and we look forward to visiting Angeline's again next year during our annual trip to Sister's Quilt Show!!!

I live only 45min away from this cute little Bakery but had never stopped before. I travel quite a bit and am always on the lookout for new and interesting Vegan restaurants but had neglected to find this one in my own backyard.

When my husband and i finally stopped on our way out of town (i didnt even realize it was a vegan bakery at the time) i walked into this quant little shop one street over from the main road through Sisters Oregon and i almost fainted right in the bakery- it was vegan!!!!

I proceeded to purchase almost every sweet delight they had in their case from a giant vegan cinnamon roll to a soft gingersnap cookie. It took me almost three days to eat everything i had purchased (i sort of went overboard because i was so excited).

But i must say, that they were some of the best vegan treats i have ever enjoyed and i have eaten at Vegan bakeries in L.A. that didn't even come close.

If you are on your way through Sisters then i must suggest that you swing by Angelines and stock up on treats like i did. I have since heard that their tofu wrap is also a must try and that their kale salad is amazing as well.

I'm already trying to find excuses to drive to Sisters to try everything else they have to eat.

Unlikely town for a vegetarian friendly place!
The delicious tofu curry was served over spinach salad and was fabulous! We also had a Marionberry scone, vegan apple,zucchini,berry muffin, and a gluten free Marionberry muffin. All very good. Good coffee too.
They also serve bagel sandwiches, other salads with indoor and outdoor seating available.
