Home-style cooking, not bad - Edit
Amused to see the previous reviewer say that the place was being run by children 😆 On our visit I guess we were fortunate to have an older gentleman cooking and serving us, maybe their father? He was friendly and the small restaurant and simple food made it all feel quite homely.
Read moreWe had actually wanted to go to the Venezuelan arepas place for a cheap bite but they were closed, so thought we’d give here a try.
Ended up ordering the dahl and bindi masala . They were fine but not great, and it did feel overpriced given how rustic everything was. (Although beer was cheap haha.)
Pros: varied menu - hard to choose, family vibe
Cons: not the best value for money

The whole experience was a bit random. The staff average age was about 15 y/o, true story, 2 brothers one cooking and the other taking orders, oh and the cousin sitting in the kitchen keeping them company!

I am confused with great reviews of this place here and on Google. We went one time, when allegedly it was supposed to be opened, and the place was closed without a note outside.
Read moreSecond time, place was opened, but it was not welcoming at all. Food was barely OK and very salty. Also, menu del dia was not available. Would not go back and would not recommend. Very random place.

Tiny place with a good selection of choices on the menu. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. My only quibble is that there was an unexpected service charge added to the bill, otherwise I’d be giving 5 stars.

Read moreI had three menu del día for 18,000 pesos, which came with a soup, drink and main. The portions are huge! Unfortunately the taste was nothing to write home about. Certain flavours were overpowering. Lots of vegan options. The atmosphere is basic, generic pop music playing in the background.

Super tolles Erlebnis. Ein paar Sachen waren ausverkauft und er ist extra für uns nochmal Obst kaufen gegangen. Wirklich total köstlich, vielseitig und mit Liebe gekocht. Ich kann das Saag mit Spinat und das Pad Thai nur empfehlen! Auch die Guanábana Limonade ist ein Muss. #Veganuary

I loved the variety on the menu but unfortunately we didn't enjoy our meals. The owner was very kind and somehow doing it all by himself. The bhindi masala didn't have any okra and tasted nothing like an Indian curry. The Syrian chickpea stew was full of spices that hasn't been cooked properly so it was very gritty. The rice was nice. I appreciated the good portion size, fresh ingredients and the large number of vegetables.

The menu is extensive but Angel was out of the menu items we wanted. Our second choices were good and filling, just not our favorite dishes or flavors. The dining area was rather dark. Worth another visit to see if we can get the menu items we want.

Cheap Menu of the Day - Edit
We had Menu of the day which was the cheapest meal (when you request to not pay tip) I've come across in our two days of being in Salento and checking many different restaurant menus. Meal includes natural juice, 1 choice of 6 different dishes and a portion of rice. For a town where restaurant prices are on the higher end this place is worth checking out if you're on a budget.

Delicious food with lovely owner - Edit
Great variety of food (Colombian/Venezuelan, Caribbean, Asian) that is seasoned well. The owner is super lovely and cooks himself on the spot with fresh ingredients. He has a policy of not using sugar and salt but the other spices make up for that 🙌🏻

The sweetest chef with a mission for good food - Edit
Angel was so nice and explained me how he started his own restaurant. His mission is to make vegan food also super delicious with lots of flavour. I had the Bhindi Massala and it was really good! I was able to pay with card btw!

We discovered this small but amazing place by walking past it when in Salento. It’s a must go! They have different cuisines from all over the world. All is prepared with a great amount of love and the people/owner working there are super friendly! As a starter we had Tapas de Patacón Mexicano and shared the Pad Thai, Zuiquini Masala and Dahl.

Nos gustó mucho la comida y nos atendieron de forma muy amable a última hora. Por ejemplo le pregunté al chef por si tiene un pay y me dijo que ya no había, pero después nos hizo un pan especialmente para nosotros.
