Large, expansive menu of Mexican cuisine, ALL plant-based. I know I can always go to most any Mexican restaurant and get salads, beans and rice (if not cooked with lard), but never have I had such a wide choice. I chose the quesadilla with jackfruit as one of many choices of protein, because I can never have one elsewhere.

My only lament is that the restaurant was hard to find. It's in a strip mall, and its small banner partially covered a larger sign for an insurance company. I almost left, but so glad I didn't. Houston, go here!
Pros: Large menu of choices, Everything fresh and made with care., Really different and delicious seasoning.
Cons: Hard to find, small signage., Music too loud.

Andaluz never fails to hit the spot. Food was banging at the food truck, and banging even more at the new restaurant. Definitely the best spot for Mexican vegan.

We finally have a vegan Mexican restaurant close to our place in Cypress. I ordered 3 corn tortilla mushroom tacos that were made to perfection. The side orders were rice and beans…Everything was delicious! Now I don’t have to drive across town to get good vegan Mexican food, except when I want vegan posole. Thank you Andaluz!!!

I am so so so happy with this place! The food is amazing and it’s so nice to have a vegan restaurant on this side of Houston. Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing, but I have to say my favorite has been their enchiladas verdes. The owners are sooo nice.
