Kakadu Gem - Edit
What a find out in the middle of the park, just when I'd given up hope of having a decent meal out during my stay at Jabiru I found this absolutely wonderful spot. The eating area feels like you're in an oasis, open air, pool nearby and fairy lights hanging up. I had curry puffs (realllllllly good flavour) the Pad Thai and the red curry. When I was asking about egg the waitress straight away asked if I was vegan and was so helpful. Their menu doesn't have vegan listed but they have tofu options for all of their dishes and seafood free labelled so makes it easy to just ask about egg. They even had a home made icecream that was vegan! This was such a good find, and I am literally writing this at my table after eating because I want everyone to know about this spot when heading through kakadu!

Delicious Dinner By the Pool - Edit
It was a hot day in Jabiru, 38 degrees- when we arrived at the Anabinik Caravan Park and headed straight for the pool. To our surprise a Thai restaurant was right there, with lots of vegan options - all the dishes have Tofu as An option - we opted for Thai Basil and Chili With Tofu and Thai Red Curry with Tofu and Some Rice. The veggies were plentiful and Hot and served quickly. Flies were outrageous But a wirly thing kept them at bay. All the dishes are $25. The Fruit drinks on offer were a bit sweet but refreshing.
