Overpriced, wouldn't go back

The restaurant was located quite out of our way so we caught a taxi to have lunch. It was definitely not worth it, and we wouldn't recommend. It's a canteen style setup with different dishes you can mix as you want. We tried asking the staff how it worked but they were all pretty disinterested and the only thing they said was that you tell them what you want and they mix a plate, we then pay by plate. No idea what it would cost but two full plates including one traditional dish in a banana leaf (nacatamales) and one bottle of water cost 663 cordobas. The water appeared to be unopened but had a really strange taste, it smelled and tasted like dish soap. Couldn't drink it.
The food was cold, bits and pieces of it tasted okay while others had a stale taste.
It was all in all a really bad experience, and we wouldn't recommend anyone going here if you have other options in Managua.

Pros: The space is large and inviting

Cons: Very overpriced for what you get and the quality, Bad service, Bottled water tasted like dish soap

Would go again

Fruit salads were fresh and fairly decent sized portions including the drink. Entire bill came to C$450. Only downside the buffet finished at 2:30PM so check before visiting.

Buffet Style

The food is buffet style and when I got there, it was obvious that most of the pans had been sitting for a while. Half of them were completely empty while the other half were down to the last scrapings. I’m thinking that this is due to COVID and them not wanting to waste food with a lack of guests. I will say that I liked what I did get, and I probably should have helped myself to more of the tacos and soy patty, but there was a dead inch worm in my salad and it turned me off from eating the rest.

Pros: Cute place, friendly staff, Juice bar, Good wifi

Cons: Looked like the food had been sitting for a while, Found a bug in my salad, You pay per item rather than per plate

Good veg option

The food is affordable and the menu has tons of vegan options. It is a good option if you’re in town and are tired of eating the classic rice and beans. The food was satisfying and definitely felt healthy.

Sweet relief

Bit pricier than standard Nicaraguan places, but when you've been subsisting on rice, beans and corn for a week you've definitely earned yourself a treat. This place provides filling and yummy comfort food, and they can tell you which buffet dishes are vegan and which are not. The menu del día comes to 120c, about the same as 4 buffet items. There are soy burgers, rice, curry, cooked vegetables, salads, fajitas etc. Drinks are 65-70 (they offer soy milk smoothies!) and the environment is lovely. Hope this place lives on, it's great!

Pros: Filling, One of a kind

Cons: Relatively expensive

Oldest veg restaurant

This restaurant has been operating since forever, should be the oldest established veg restaurant in the country, now also the first to rock an HC sticker. A big nice and simple restaurant with a big garden and huge old tree on the parking lot. A big buffet where you are explained, choose and are served, paying at the end of the line depending on your choices. You are served fast and prices are good! Plenty of choices and a great way to try veganized tipical Nicaraguan food. Most options are vegan however some are vegetarian so make sure to ask which ones.

Pros: Choice, Quick, Affordable

Cons: Dairy

delicious nica vegan food

Here you can get great taste of vegan Nicaraguan dishes and drinks like nacatamal, indio viejo and sopa de queso (this one is vegetarian :( ) for example. You get a great variety of dishes in the buffet, the flavors are quiet delicious and you can also order things from the menu, like burguers and sandwiches. The place is nice, you will see a very big and beautiful tree in the parking lot, it's branches gives shade to the restaurant. The place is big, you can sit in tables outside in the grass field of the garden or you can sit inside and surrounded by cristal windows and a roof but it is not totally closed. The atmosphere is very nice here.
