some of the best veg Indian in AD - Edit
Anand's food is generously-portioned and not super heavy. Their menu changes daily, so look at the board when you walk in. Ranges from daals, pakora, thalis, samosa, etc.—be sure to let them know you're vegan when you go in and they'll adjust their set meals and sauces for that. Very good value for portion sizes.
Pros: yummy, daily menu change, big portions
Cons: atmosphere is lacking

Friendly and exciting - Edit
Anand is a very small indian restaurant with a lovely traditional flair.
It's visited by almost only indian people and the staff is also indian.
They have a defined menu for every day. It's written on a board at the wall.
If you sit down you'll directly be served with this menu. You'll get a big plate with some vegetable options and rice and naan. Almost every 5 minutes the waiter restocks your plate untill you say that you are "really full".
They are very lovely people and very friendly.
The taste of your menu was real good, but also very spicy.
The price for two menus and a big bottle of water was only around 5 Euro.
I would say, that it's not a place for everybody, but for open people with a sense of tradition. The hygienic standard is unlike ours, but it's okay.
Pros: cheap, traditional, all you can eat
Cons: no food choice
