One excellent vegan option

As a vegan, I was so happy to find a restaurant with a vegan option in the area! They have 1 vegan option on their lunch menu - the vegan burrito bowl, which comes with rice, sweet potatoes, corn, black beans, avocado, and greens in a delicious cilantro-lime dressing. It is very fresh, wholesome, filling, and tasty.

The only downside is that I wish there were more than 1 vegan option, in case someone's not a fan of burrito bowls.

Their wines and cocktails are reasonably priced but there isn't a huge selection. From the sunny patio you can hear the calming sound of a brook. Service is timely. Great location just minutes away from Fundy National Park - stop here for lunch before a hike!

Best Place in Town / Gluten Free Option

My husband had the Vegan Bowl, which is gluten free. It had brown rice, black beans, sweet potatoes, greens, corn, a half an avocado, and more. I had a hearty Asian noodle soup which was vegan, and can be made gluten free with a buckwheat noodle option. It was good, but would have been better with more vegetables in it. They also serve great kombucha, and have a vegan gluten free dessert--a rich chia pudding which we heard is great, but didn't try ourselves. The waitress was super knowledgeable, and very helpful. The chef here is committed to local sourcing and minimally processed food. If you have gluten sensitive people in your group, know that all their pasta dishes are available in GF options.

No more vegan options

I went to OG on my way to Halifax looking for the vegan burrito bowl, that menu does not exist anymore the only thing vegan is either gluten free pasta for diner or a latte with soy milk.

Wonderful spot!

Okay, so in a very small seaside town, this has been our best option for a vegan meal! We love the staff and the vibe. We have eaten the burrito bowl and loved it. They now have kombucha on tap. As vegetarians in the past we have really enjoyed the fresh homemade pasta and the ploughman’s lunch. They often have beautiful soups as well! Worth checking out, even if just for a vegan latte!

One vegan option

Only one vegan option; unless you like burrito salad, go elsewhere.

Fresh, friendly & accommodating.

I would give the meal 5 stars if happy cow allowed me. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were very accomodating to us as vegans. In the morning we got a latte and london fog and were happy to see they had almond milk as an option. Later we returned for dinner and the chef veganized pasta, salad and bruchetta for us. They were made with fresh herbs and sprouts. The flavour was incredible. If we ever road trip this way again we will DEFINITELY return.

Pros: Chef was amazing, Staff was interesting ans friendly, Food was incredible.

Cons: Small menu for vegans.

Oasis in a Desert

I am motorcycling through the eastern maritime islands of Canada and riding through New Brunswick and seeing nothing but seafood place after seafood place. Being a vegan this is not a good thing.
I stopped in based on finding it on Happy Cow and it is a very nice spot, super cool, owner, chef, waitress, everything. Their vegan options were slim, basically one panini of raw vegetables and two soups. The sandwich was fine though nothing to write home about and the soup was good. The owner said she just made it as an experiment and I give avocado/spinach soup a thumbs up.
I want to give them five stars, but with the thin vegan pickings it has to be three.

Pros: Charming Place, Sweet Staff, An oasis

Cons: small vegan menu, prices

A good change!

When we were traveling in New Brunswick, we found difficulties to find vegetarian food. Most of the time, we sustained on vege pizza. This restaurant is a good change for us and finally we are able to eat properly! The vege soup was very good. We had Carbonara, which i found it a bit 'eggy' and 'chessy' and lacking of vege plus too salty. The portion of the main course is quite small to moderate, price around $13, come with bread and salad. They only do hand made fresh pasta at evening as main course. There are around 10 selections.

Pros: Vege food, Friendly atmosphere

Cons: Price
