Loud and Garish - Edit
We stopped here for coffee, but didn't return to try their food, as the staff were quite ungracious. While we were the only customers present, they also started watching very loud reality TV. Trivial perhaps, but quite jarring when in the shadow of a place of worship. The display shelf of 'egg butter waffles' and other non-vegan items was also a little off-putting.
Cons: unpleasant service

Excellent Restaurant Next to Pagoda - Edit
A great Buddhist restaurant next to a large Buddhist shrine.
It has a varied menu going well beyond the usual rice and veg. They even have some desserts.
I enjoyed noodles, a green bean juice and, returning for breakfast the next day, noodle soup and coffee.
Check it out!
