Yummy drive thru fast food! - Edit
It’s exactly like a drive through. Love the vegan burgers and shakes. While some of the ingredients may be from the Amy’s line of frozen meals, most of the food is much better and freshly made. Like the burger patty may be from the Amy’s factory but the bun and all the toppings and sauces are fresh and tasty! My daughter had the kid’s bean burrito which was exactly the same as the frozen one, and it came with freshly made hummus and carrots. Will definitely go back whenever passing through Marin County!

Really Like It! - Edit
Feels like a classic drive thru fast food experience. Just order anything and ask for it to be vegan and they’ll do it - which is how I wish all restaurants everywhere operated😄
Read moreA bit pricey but also it’s not more expensive than the average fast food restaurant nowadays. Highly recommend visiting, and ironically probably the most vegan-friendly spot in all of Marin is this Amy’s. (A fast food establishment)

The Best Vegan Shakes - Edit
I absolutely love their vegan coffee, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla shakes! It’s one of our highlights when we’re in town passing by after a long hike. The burgers are okay. Their vegan chili cheese fries are amazing!

Fries & Secret Sauce - Edit
My partner and I were craving some fries after a shopping trip. Stopped by and ordered fries and their secret sauce, which is vegan! Fries were perfectly cooked and salted. Secret sauce is very similar to in-n-outs "special" sauce. Really hit the spot 👌

Not bad, kind of pricey - Edit
The food here is pretty good. I got the burger and fries, a drink and strawberry shake. I would say the food is pretty typical of a fast food burger place. It really hit the spot, I enjoyed it but it wasn’t especially noteworthy. What is noteworthy however was the price, $60 for two meals! For burgers and fries!
Read moreWon’t return, probably. The quality is just not good enough to be deserving of the high price in my opinion. There are burger places that are, just not this one.
Again, the food was enjoyable. Just pretty egregiously overpriced.

Overall good food, anything that isn’t automatically vegan can be made vegan for a small charge.

SO great to have this in the north bay. Really easy comfort food - reasonably priced. If you go, get the app so you can collect rewards - it’s been banking up for free meals lately!

A must try! - Edit
Everything on the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan. The burgers are excellent and the fries are my favorite. They now have a great vegan “chicken” burger. I would also recommend the chili cheese fries and shakes. The pizza is also great.

Wanted it to be better - Edit
Nothing special, happy to have tried it and several years ago this would've been a huge find for me but fast food style vegan food has come a long way and Amy's doesn't seem to do anything that other places aren't already doing better

Great fast food! - Edit
I was impressed! The chikn sandwich was delicious and not as greasy as fast food usually is. Wouldn’t mind if Amy’s opened up a few of these on the east coast, particularly NY/NJ (hint, hint)

Amy’s is the Best Fast Casual Dining - Edit
Amy’s caters to vegans in every way and the result is delicious food. Their burger and chicken sandwich are wonderful. I especially enjoy the sweet pickles. Fries are crispy and tasty, especially the sweet potato fries. Non-dairy milkshakes are the perfect finish to any meal. I recommend the coffee shake.

A critical role in vegan movement - Edit
Although there have been many work place issues with Amy’s from what I’ve heard they are being resolved? The food empowerment project worked with some of the employees and have retracted the boycott so yay for unions and all that!
Read moreLet be know I’m a pretty pragmatic vegan so I’m not super supportive of ALF and more interested in working with carnivores to bring people to our side. With that in mind…
Amy’s fills a critical role in accessing vegan eating. For vegetarians Amy’s is a no brainer that makes them feel at home while offering vegan options for them to explore as they transition. For carnivores Amy’s is appeal as a classic American venue which does not shove vegan options down your throat. The fact that Amy’s is a chain and can spread around the US if it continues to be successful also is exciting.
Oh also it tastes pretty damn good for the price!
Pros: Great vegan options, Reasonable price
Cons: History of poor working conditions

Very meh. - Edit
Ordered the chicken burger and the vegan margarita pizza.
Read moreThe pizza was flavoursome with the fresh basil, but it is a mini-pizza. So it’s fine as a snack or light lunch but it’s not likely to fill you up.
The chicken burger was disappointing. Though it is impressive how thin they can get the chicken patty, I’ll give them that.
There was very little to get excited about with regard to this burger.
It was edible but not memorable. Not worth the $8/9 paid for it.
Also had the vegan milkshakes. Hubby had chocolate I had the coffee flavored. He enjoyed his, I couldn’t drink mine. I’m not partial to that particular coconut taste.
Pros: Choice of vegan options
Cons: Small portions, Unimpressive chicken burger, Over-priced for what you get

So much better than expected - Edit
We weren’t expecting much because we didn’t really like the frozen range in stores but the take away was great! The chicken burger was our top pick (already vegan) with such a crispy patty and pickles. The cheesy chilli fries were delicious but half was cheese and have was chilli, not just over the whole top of it. Mac and cheese was pretty good! The chocolate shake was such a vibe after hiking Muir Woods. We sat in a sunny spot in the courtyard there and it was just lovely.

Could do better - Edit
I've gone to this place number of times. Keep hoping it will be better but it stays the same. The burger is just so disappointing. The patty is this little tiny thing that is tasteless. There's so many great meat options out there between beyond and impossible to make a delicious burger. These things are just dried out awful discs with some cheese on them. Really sad that they have these beautiful facilities and such bad food.

Great place for a quick bite - Edit
We stumbled across this place as we were driving from SFO to wine country. Being an east coaster, I had heard about this place but never been so was excited to take the next exit and back track our way back to the restaurant. It did not disappoint! I had the single patty burger with no cheese and spicy sauce with a side of fries. The meal was perfect after the long morning of travel. I didn’t care much for the ginger mint lemonade which tasted more of a basic lemonade. My friend got the chili cheese fries which were good but become soggy quickly. Still I recommend this place for a wonderful vegan meal on the go!

Poor treatment of workers, fines, oh vey! - Edit
The workers here have been on constant strike since they opened because of dangerous and unsafe working conditions. I would not support them because of not wanting that to continue. Unhappy workers equals bad food. Please read this before you consider supporting them... https://foodispower.org/whats-going-on-at-amys-kitchen/.

Boycott Amy’s - Edit
I’ve joined the boycott in solidarity with the workers who create the retail Amy’s foods. They are organizing for human rights such as bathroom breaks, sick days, healthcare, and humane wages. Amys has a pattern of retaliation against workers who bring up concerns about workplace safety violations.

Very Good Vegan/Vegetarian FAST FOOD - Edit
Well-made plant-based fast food with friendly service.
Read moreWe often stop here on our way North for work and it never disappoints. It's not upscale vegan food, it's (slightly healthier) fast food people! If plant-based burgers and fries are what you're after, this is your place! Chili and salads are great.

Cons: Lots of single-use paper and plastic

Finally all veggie/ vegan fast food - Edit
This is great as a fast food place and an opportunity to eat quickly and the stereotypical American food. It’s not the best food in the world but it’s easy and is exactly what they advertise it to be. I loved seeing families coming here instead of to other quick eat places. And the staff were all very friendly too.

Overhyped - Edit
This restaurant is frequently listed as among the best vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area, e.g. in the SF Chronicle. To me, that is overhyped. The food was not good. We had pizza, Mac n cheese and a Rachel salad. The salad was the best offering. The pizza and Mac were highly processed, microwaved junk. Dry, flavorless…It was unhealthy without the pleasure of the splurge. Wouldn’t try it again or recommend it over the dozens of other fantastic vegetarian restaurants of the Bay Area.

Vegan Friendly, Fast, Tasty - Edit
So excited to finally try Amy’s Drive Thru! I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any scrambles on their menu since that was what I was looking forward to the most. I ordered a vegan single patty burger with grilled onions and vegan cheese instead. It was a good burger, though not the best ever. I also got a smoothie and cheese fries that were both delicious! My omnivorous company loved everything they got with real cheese. It’s a great place to go with mixed company. The staff was very friendly, and the building itself is beautiful.

Pretty average burger - Edit
I really love the amount of options available for vegans and the use or fresh ingredients (this I could definitely taste). I only had the burger, but the patty was so small it tasted like I was eating a lettuce sandwich. I would love to try some of the other options.
