Excellent tasting Indian food

Great online ordering with customizable options like spice level, no dairy or yogurt, etc.
Food was ready on time and everything tasted amazing. Had the chana masala, baighan barta, abd samosas and all were delicious and good portions.

Delicious

We had theDal Fry, chole bhatura and ghobi Manchurian. All were fantastic.

Pros: Different from most Indian restaurants, Spicy means spicy!, Friendly service

Cons: Wait was 2x the estimated 20 minutes

Great Vegan Option

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars-really. They not only accommodated our vegan diet; they gave us an oil free meal! There were at least 6 or 7 Vegan options. The restaurant is 2 blocks off I 75. The decor is tastefully done yielding a quiet and private dining experience despite being a busy restaurant. The service was most attentive. I will make a point of eating here on our next trip up Interstate 75.

Pros: Ample vegan options, Quiet private dining, Convenient location

Cons: None for me

I love me some Indian food! They accommodate your vegan needs! It's a really nice and friendly place. Careful when you ask for the hot version of your food.

Pros: vegan options

Cons: it's expensive

Fabulous Food with Plenty of Vegan Options

Went for lunch and when I asked about what could be made vegan, the owner, who was welcoming us, said that any of the curries could be made vegan. That was everything without meat on the lunch menu! We had aloo chole and veg curry, along with veg samosas! Food was fantastic and service was friendly.

Fantastic Find

Amrit Palace Indian Restaurant is a fantastic find whether you live nearby or are traveling down the highway. Tucked away a bit from the other busyness of the area it might get overlooked but its well worth the stop. The environment is clean and the service is excellent. Each time I've gone I feel like I'm visiting a family's home. My guess is that it is a family run business, but I'm not certain. The food is delicious and there are many vegan and veg options. You may need to ask for details. The only downside is there are no photos on the menu. With everything being (or seeming) authentic Indian it would be great to see photos of these dishes when ordering. In particular because some dishes come with sides of bread and sauces, etc and these seem to be known combinations, for those in the know. However if you're not in the know its hard to determine exactly what your order will contain. I'll be working on more photos and documenting meals in future visits.

UPDATE
I've taken the time to read the menu closer as opposed to just diving in and ordering what looks good. For the lunch menu each dish comes with; Served with a Cup of Dal Soup, 1/2 Nan (warm flat bread kinda like a pita), Rice and Onion Chutney. So this helps clear up the "I didn't know this came with this dish. I don't remember reading about this." part. LOL See new posted photos. The food here is DELICIOUS and its a shame we can't give them a FIVE STARS.

Yummy vegan options!!!

Delicious selection of VEGAN options! One thing that really stood out about this restaurant was having the OWNER come to our table at least three times to check on us...when does that happen anymore??? This is a fantastic place...very clean, great menu selection, yummy vegan food, fair prices, and excellent service! Other restaurants should follow this example : )

Pros: many vegan options, clean, great service

Good Indian food with plenty of vegetarian options

We had lunch here last week. Since there are so few restaurants that have vegetarian options, we were delighted to find this one. The lunch came with soup as well as rice and the entree. My husband and I ordered different items and shared. I thought everything was quite good.

Well it might not be quite as good as the meals an Indian friend of mine prepares, I thought the food was quite good. I have eaten at Indian restaurants in Las Vegas and Michigan that were recommended by Indian friends, and I think Amrit compares favorably to those.

Pros: Good food, Reasonably priced, Plenty of vegetarian options

Pretty good.

This is the only Indian Restaurant that I know of in Ocala, so with that in mind, it's good. Definitely not the best Indian I have had, but when I get that craving, it hits the spot. I always do take out, but I have noticed the place is usually not that busy, seems most people come for take out.

Pros: Good food, average Indian rest. prices
