something for everyone - Edit
Difficult to find! They currently don't have a sign that is visible from the road. Accordingly, look for the sign that says "Sanibel Cafe". Among the Flowers is next door.
Read moreVegans will be happy with their fresh made juices like Red Glo made with beet, carrot, apple & ginger. They also have smoothies, granola, chia pudding & a raw vegan truffle.
They do made-to-order lunches where you design your own sandwich. Ingredients include: mixed greens, spinach, cucumber, tomato, onion, capers, pickled jalapeño, sundries tomatoes, grilled veggies, olives, guacamole, hummus, kale, sprouts & nuts.
Also salads & pizza. Plenty of free parking in lot.

VEGETARIAN PLACE (uses honey in one or two options only) - Edit
Sad to learn that this place is listed as Veg-Options but is actually Vegetarian (in reality almost all vegan except 1 or 2 options on the menu).

The BEST in SWFL - Edit
Always a great atmosphere. When you walk in the door, you automatically feel at ease. Everything is made fresh. So, if you have large orders, I suggest to call it in advance to avoid long wait times (they are gladly accommodating for this!) The desserts are amazing! I highly suggest the Bliss Balls. They also have a small gift shop available with misc items such as gemstone bracelets, salt lamps, crystals, and much-much more!

Cons: Not enough stars on Happy Cow to rate this place!!

great raw vegan goodies! - Edit
I was in town for the holiday weekend an came upon this shop. I tried the Nirvana Protein Ball which was delicious. Soaked walnuts with coconut oil, topped with hemp seeds. Owner makes everything herself. Lots of juice and smoothie options, plus 'to-go' sandwich boxes. So cute, shop owner really nice. Unfortunately they aren't open on Sundays, so I wasn't able to try their juice on my way out of town.

A gem! Highly recommended! - Edit
In a town that would not easily be described as "vegan-friendly", Jolie and Joel's Among the Flowers Cafe stands out like a rose among thorns, quietly offering vegan goodies like the delicious Avo's Humm, Grilled Veggie wrap and an assortment of juices and smoothies.
Read moreIt's easy to see and feel that Jolie and Joel have their customers' best interests in mind. When you're in Sanibel, please stop by and enjoy your time Among the Flowers!
