Veg friendly - Edit
We ordered nachos extra spicy option without sour cream and the veg enchiladas. The nachos were severely disappointing, hardly any cheese or salsa and no beans, jalapenos or guacamole. Right next to us a couple had a massive plate of nachos with tons of stuff, while ours look pathetic. There was also absolutely no spice or chilli to it. We had to ask twice and wait ages for more extra salsa.
Read moreThe enchiladas were better but nothing exciting and we were a bit hungry after. The owner was there and asked us about it and we explained our issues. We seemed to have come on a bad day, as the owner explained it was just after a Laotion wedding and it seemed to have been under staffed. He also explained we were supposed to get beans and guacomole. I explained to him I could make a much better salsa and would like to show his staff how to do it.
In the end, he let us have the meal for free which was nice of him
Pros: the owner takes interest in customer satifaction , staff understood no sour cream request
Cons: Was disappointing veg nachos, picnic style seating

Okay so the food here was really tasty so it is a good option if you’re craving Mexican flavours. However, we ordered one veggie burrito and I asked for another without cheese and sour cream and they took 40 minutes to come (we were the second customers in the place after it opened) and it arrived cold? Also the owner/manager does the rounds to check you’re alright etc which would usually be really nice but when I told him id ordered vegan he kind of pulled a face which was a bit frustrating. All in all good food but weird experience.

Veggie burrito was very nice - Edit
Ordered the veggie burrito for breakfast without cheese and it was great. Really fresh ingredients, nice flavors and was a huge portion! Overall I would go again. It reminds me more of Tex mex than true Mexican but hey, we are in the middle of Laos 😂

Loved every bite. Staff were kind and friendly. Went back multiple times for the vegetarian burrito.

Disappointing Experience - Edit
I really wanted to love this place, and when we walked up, I was even more excited to find a see saw and some toys for my daughter to play with. Unfortunately, the margarita was watered down, the guac was underseasoned, the chips were a cheap store bought variety, and the fried onion was a limp, oily, unbattered blob that came with cheese on top (which wasn't listed on the menu). Sorry, Amigos, I won't be back :(

This is not an all-vegetarian restaurant, but there are many options and the chef has no problem in customizing your order if you find something you like. There are no pure vegan dishes (nobody in Laos seems to know what it even is) but you can make them vegan. The food was very nice, very big portions.

Run by a friendly owner, we enjoyed our overall experience. We found the food to be a little bland, and more 'tex mex' than authentic mexican, which stopped me from giving it 4 stars. It was a very clean place, and I would defiantly recommend it.
