Vegan options galore! - Edit
Almost the whole menu had a vegan option available label even things like “meat feast pizza” - we asked “does the vegan option mean you just serve it plain?” and the guy was like “no! We do all the vegan meat! Vegan cream! Vegan cheese!!!” I was like omg… had a vegan carbonara - first carbonara in over 10 years and wow was it amazing. Highly recommend. There was only one slight worry - when he was checking about the carbonara he said “egg is fine yes?” I said “no because it comes out of an animal?” - ok. Then I heard him say the word vegan about 20 times to the kitchen staff so I was reassured by that.

Amichevole per i vegani - Edit
Most of their menu items have a vegan version, and the ones I've had have been great. One time I went in recently I lost count of the number of times I heard the word "vegan" come up in conversations from different tables. They have a good reputation for vegan food for good reason, and live up to their name of being friendly.

Staff very friendly. Vegan options clearly labelled. Most food can be made vegan and staff are accommodating. They also offer NHS discount of 10%.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Never seen a small family restaurant offer so many vegan options on their extensive menu. The majority of dishes can be made vegan! Even better, they do vegan wonderfully! The food is to die for, a must try. I really recommend any pizza, the penne modo Mia and the salted caramel cheesecake!

This is where I disagree with Happy Cow not giving 5 stars to a non fully vegan establishment as this place go out of its way to veganise as much as they can in this lovely little restaurant. Nothing is too much for them. For vegans to eat the same dish albeit veganised alongside meat eaters in a restaurant can often be a very rare experience.

I’ve been to amicis quite a few times now, as a vegetarian and vegan and the food has always been lovely. Vegan pizzas available with vegan cheese, vegan pastas & bolognese with vegan parmesan to sprinkle on top, vegan butter available for table bread. Even a vegan desert. Would highly recommend x
