Great vegan menu - Edit
The staff were friendly and knowledgable. I never took any photos as they never lasted long enough. Had to try quite a bit the worse one was the meat alternative spring roll type things these were not that great. My fave was the meatballs, these were so tasty.

Lovely food. We were able to get a table on a Saturday night without a reservation. The staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Several dishes labelled vegan. Unfortunately they didn’t have vegan calamari so I had the vegan prawns instead-very nice. The green beans were excellent as was the carrots and hummus dish. I tried a vegan chicken and chorizo dish which was nice but I don’t think I’d get it again. There are vegan versions of some of the meat dishes so I double checked that it was definitely the vegan version when it arrived. The aubergine fritters were quite good but heavy on the batter. My friend had the vegan almond cake and really enjoyed it.

Great food & Atmosphere - Edit
Delicious tasty vegetarian tapas, also have a good selection of wines. We called in after a little shopping trip and was fortunate to be given a table on the ground floor. The staff were very attentive and really friendly, had a wonderful relaxing meal.

Vegan options plenty - Edit
We had a dinner with friends here and ordered five tapas per couple - there were plenty of choices which were all clearly labelled and super tasty. Would thoroughly recommend the patatas bravas (super tasty!) and the chorizo dish. Food came quickly but we didn’t feel rushed by the staff.

Astonishing how a place with this many vegan offerings and potential has chefs that don't seem to know how to season food, it was really surprising. We went on a Sunday night and have been before a long time ago which was better. The cauliflower dish is lousy and has every reason not to be and the side salad is similar. A few dishes were ok, the sticky toffee pudding went down a treat with my 6 year old but took ages to arrive. Recommend take your own salt and pepper and season to taste. Didn't try the vegan paella but would like to, of I go back I might take a lemon with me just in case.

I didn’t take enough photos of the food, it was all so good we just dug straight in! Everything we ate was delicious, the highlight was the vegan chorizo and chorizo! They have a separate vegan menu and staff were very helpful

If you like Tapas, this is the place to go; the atmosphere in the restaurant felt very traditional & so was the menu which had a wide variety of options. The food was high-quality which I think matched the pricing well. Service was quick (although I can imagine it may be a bit slower at busier times). The only issue I can see is that there aren't enough vegan options considering they recommend 3-4 dishes per person: if you only went once it'd be fine, but if you went again you'd have to have some the same (which for some isn't an issue anyway). Also there's only 1 vegan dessert option. But overall would definitely recommend.

The veggie tapas list was longer than the meat and fish lists on the menu. Quite a few vegan options. Everything we ordered was delicious. We each had 4 plates and were comfortably full. I wish I'd had 3 plates and saved space for dessert! They looked amazing.

We were given a QR code to scan and had to order and pay online. I've never done that before but it was really straight forward and meant we didn't have to wait for a bill when we were done. I think this is a Covid thing. I can see it takes some pressure off the staff. They were still attentive and friendly when we had a question.

Plenty of vegan and veggie options, even on the reduced post-lockdown menu. Staff were helpful and able to suggest which veggie options could be made vegan too. Lovely to have somewhere with good vegan food made from vegetables and not completely meat substitutes as many of the vegan only eateries in the city are.

Tapas and paella delight - Edit
First visit to this branch of Ambiente Tapas and we were not disappointed. Great way to reach location , even if you are driving. Lots of room in the restaurant may be that there are less tables because of covid restrictions. Helpful waiting staff who explained the app ordering process. This worked very well. Food was excellent and even with a reduced menu there was plenty to choose from. There is a small bit of confusion on app as some items are labelled’ vegan’ some have ‘vg’ and some which are vegan aren’t labelled at all like the paella. Waiting staff on hand to check with kitchen. Lovely food. Swiftly dispatched. Obvious wait for paella.
