Really good - Edit
It's really good here. The whole place has this fun circus theme, and there are cards and books on the tables; it's definitely family friendly. They serve their burgers several different ways, but they also have other menu options. We ordered dates, mac and cheese, and a salad. The salad and mac and cheese were huge- when they say "large," they mean it! The salad came with chunks of the burger patty in it, and while it did taste good, I don't think I would come back just for the burger. My mom didn't like the dates, but I thought they were really good. They were sweet, chewy, creamy, and smokey all at once. The mac and cheese has a great consistency and flavor, and so does the "BeetBQ sauce." It's really good!

It IS amazing! - Edit
I finally went here after meaning to for awhile, and the food blew me away. I got biscuits and gravy with the kale burger and it was AMAZING--I was actually surprised by how delicious the kale burger is! Freshly-made soda, cauliflower mac n cheez, and chocolate chip cookie were also delicious. Brandon is a food genius who clearly puts so much care into his creations!!! Also, he and Brandi were so welcoming and it was such a warm place to have a meal. I can't wait to go back; I'm already craving another kale burger!

Amazing Kale Burger - Edit
Very aptly named. Had the amazingly good amazing kale burger, on freshly baked bun. Moist, tasty, just right chewy, without being dry. Dressed with cucumbers, onions, homemade ketchup. Tried it at Vegan Vortex spring market. Looking forward to trying rest of menu.

Mmm, Kale... Mmm, Burger - Edit
By no fault of it's own, this restaurant is located very inconveniently to where I live--which is too bad, because I'd like to go there more often! I suspect this is a place where the chef likes to "fiddle." For example, there's beet ketchup instead of tomato ketchup. But the overall effect is unpretentious. It's still just a burger, and a tasty one at that. I like that the menu is a choice among several combinations, rather than a do-it-yourself, mix-and-match affair. I'm terrible at those. I really would like to have lunch here more often! I'm hoping it becomes a chain one day.

it was wonderful! - Edit
My wife and I ate at Amazing Kale Burger and were really thrilled. I t was Sunday and they had both brunch and their regular menu available. While brunch smelled really good, my wife wanted me to try one of their burgers as she had been there once before and thought I would really like it. So we each had one and shared a half. The special was with an eggplant puree with some really nice seasoning. The other was a beet BBQ kaleburger . In both cases the base (I.e. kaleburger) was the same. It is very flavorful (nicely spiced). We also had their roasted potatoes with garlic and a creamy ole slaw. The potatoes were excellent and the Cole slaw was quite nice. The hibiscus us in t tea was great and went really well with the pineapple upside down cake. We had heard desserts were good so I we really wanted to try some, but we took their last slice of cake. While it would not have normally been my "go to" dessert, it might become one (at least there). it was wonderful! It is a small place so we got a place at the counter. We learned that Brandon (the owner) built pretty much everything in the place from benches to tables to the counter we sat at. Decorations are eclectic and inviting. Our hostess was warm and welcoming to all who came and thosd leaving. I smiled when she offered that a deck of cards and same books were available while some later arrivals were waiting for their order. All in all, it was a very ni e first time and it will not be our last.

Fun, tiny space! - Edit
I am happy to have this place in the neighborhood! We ate here a few weeks ago and had a good experience, though it wasn't exactly like I expected.
Read moreIt is a super tiny place! This wasn't a problem since there were only a few other people that stopped in. The menu has only a few things on it. Several slight modifications of the kale burger, and a few sides. There was also a FABULOUS chocolate cake available.
The only person working there was the owner, who chatted with us while we ate which was really nice. They also had highchairs and crayons/coloring books in addition to other books and games, which gave it a friendly touch. The music was very loud, which I didn't mind but others might.
My complaints with the food were: only one bun option- white and unmemorable. Though there were different versions of the burger, the "fixins" were somewhat sparse and could be jazzed up. The sides were good (I think there were brussel sprouts and some sort of roasted potato). They did not have plain ketchup, they just served a small amount of a beet-based ketchup. Also, no sweet potato, regular, or tater tot fries. I know they aren't healthy, but sometimes you want fries with a "burger"! As I said, the cake was worth a trip on it's own.
I look forward to seeing how this restaurant develops, I think it has a lot of potential, and I plan on supporting it! The owner was talking about eventually doing brunch, which would be great.
Pros: cute and friendly, area needs vegan restaurants
Cons: very limited selection
