Coffee is okay, but not the food - Edit
The coffee was pretty good, but my friend and I both ordered food too, which was awful. Very small portions, very expensive, and neither of us finished our food, even though we were hungry. Everything must have been warmed up in the microwave because the waffles, chkn, and bread were gummy and chewy. I really wanted to love this place, but I just didn’t.

Cons: Food was gummy and chewy, It was too expensive, The portions were very small

Very sweet pastries. - Edit
Pastry that I ordered was the pumpkin cream cheese muffin. It was so sweet I threw most of it away. Disappointed that they do not offer an alternative option for cups to go as I am from out of town and only here for one day. Although barista did let me know I could bring my cup from home (from Nevada?)

Cons: No to go cups, Pastry was extremely sweet

Alethea - The item you ordered is actually a frosted caramel pumpkin cheesecake cupcake, so yes, it is sweet. We do not have muffins at this time. I recommend one of our coffee cake squares or scones - they're probably closer to what you're looking for! I'm sorry you were unhappy with our Reusable Glass Jar Program. Reducing waste is important to us, so that's why we don't offer "disposable" "single-use" cups. We also have the option to enjoy your drink at our coffee parlor in one of our pretty wares!
Read moreFun fact: since launching our Reusable Glass Jar Program in September of 2019, we've kept over 150,000 cups out of the landfill!

Management Issues - Edit
So sad that the only fully vegan coffee shop here in Omaha has had issues with how they have treated their employees in the past.
Read moreMy favorite items from here were the baked goods which they get from Sweet Magnolias around the corner anyway though. 🤷♀️

Emma - You're right. We have had issues managing a few of our past employees. We hope that the employees you're mentioning are now happier, healthier, and pursuing their dreams. We cared about them, and we did our best to treat them with respect, kindness, care and consideration.

So cute! - Edit
I love this place! I visited it on a cross country roadtrip and it did not disappoint. I got a dirty turmeric latte with soy milk and a breakfast sandwich, and both are very good. The staff is also great. I also like their zero waste policies, and brought in my own cup for them to make my latte in. If you don’t have your own to-go cup you will have to pay an extra $2 for a to-go jar, since they don’t use paper or plastic. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely stop by.

Love Something More - Edit
The breakfast sandwich is pretty good, a bit greasy to the point of making the gluten free biscuit soggy. The cold brew is nice and the pastries are a real treat.

Our breakfast sandwich has maple syrup in it, which adds flavor and a bit of moisture! :)

Amazing coffeehouse! - Edit
I had a Dirty Golden Milk (tumeric) Latte. It was like pumpkin pie in a cup. So good! The breakfast sandwich was also delicious, and it took every ounce of willpower I had to not get a scone or doughnut. (I did get an oatmilk latte to go, though.) The owner was super friendly, too, and I love their eco-friendly policies like glass to-go jars and paper straws.

Husband “I like everything about this place…atmosphere, music, food, everything “
Read moreDelightful little coffee shop. It’s not very far off the interstates. Took about a minute to get to I75 and 5 or less to get to I80.
Coffee and chick’n waffles were fantastic! Fried oyster mushrooms on the waffles were brought in from another local kitchen and are made from scratch, as are the pastries.
They have local art for sale made by owner and staff. Inclusive. Just lovely
Pros: Delicious , Great atmosphere , Outdoor seating in the back
Cons: Can’t think of a thing

Great spot, sure to visit again. - Edit
It's a small shop that your navigation tool is likely going to tell you to take a U-turn to make and it's well worth it.
Read moreThe drinks are inspired and interesting. They come in jars that you either pay $2 for and can take home (or return for a discount).
Entirely vegan with good choices and no shortage of creativity on the menu.
I tried the Pistachio Valentine drink and it was a little sweet for me, and the rose syrup with oat milk created a banana flavor, but my partner liked it while I stole their Brown Sugar expresso which I found to be lovely.
Overall a great calm spot on one of my least favorite streets in Omaha.
Pros: Quiet and Cozy, Delicious waffles, Cool environmentally friendly drink cups
Cons: Little expensive , No fryer on prem = soggy fried chick'n, Chairs lack support

Tiny Vegan Coffee Parlor + Roastery - Edit
As proudly proclaimed on their website, Amateur Coffee, the "artsy specialty coffee roasters with the tiny vegan coffee parlor" is "where the magic happens" in this little vegan corner of the world. In the same neighborhood as Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop, that's where they get their vegan pastries from. Savory vegan breakfast food offerings come from Veg.Edible, teas are from local friend Andrea at Artemis Teas, and their delicious hot or iced coffee, espresso, and non-coffee drinks are made and served in-house - nothing amateur about it.
Read morePros: ALL food and beverages are vegan, all is delicious, & the business is environmentally conscious, part of their zero-waste initiative: reusable jars

Great Little Shop - Edit
This is a cozy all vegan coffee shop. I had the Princess Peach Chai Latté and it was delicious. The space is small, there are not tables but you can sit up at the coffee bar area. They have a reusable jar program and don't use disposable/plastic dishware or cups. They sell their own coffee and merchandise. They also sell small business teas and earrings. This is such a cute small business and I will definitely be back.
