One of the best vegan restaurant in Italy - Edit
The menu is full of Italian dishes which have been veganised. We took the tortelli and the cappelletti then the Scaloppine. Really good quality and tasty dishes. The staff are really friendly. We will definitely come back again.

Good food. Nice staff - Edit
Their photos aren’t too appetizing but the flavors are pretty good.
Read moreMy tempeh was hot and cold which was odd.
The waiter made me wait a while for dessert (which I didn’t mind - the place was full!) so he brought be double 😳🥰

Pros: Ottima cucina, Gentilezza

Friendly folks and good food - Edit
I saw a road sign pointing to a vegan restaurant which I thought was pretty exciting. Decided to try despite having skipped it due to some of the other reviews. I though the prices were normal and the food was good. It was refreshing to have an all-vegan place and they had a variety of different types of dishes. Staff was super friendly and kind, terrace was lovely.

Molto buono - Edit
Ambiente molto piacevole, personale gentile.

The waiter was very nice and the soup was delicious, but other food in buffe was cold and tastless. Beer costs 9(!) €...👎

Delicious - Edit
Inventive tasty and beautifully presented- We loved the yummy strong flavours- all very interesting. If you are in Ravenna this is a MUST visit . We had the tasting menu at 27 euros each for 4 courses- and felt very full afterwards. Excellant value for money- We will come again.

Very good - Edit
I was reluctant to come here for a long time, thinking that it would be expensive, but my boyfriend and I ate here for lunch and spent about 20 euro. We each got a vegan burger and shared a large water. Food was very good, everything was homemade which I appreciate. Buffet also looked really tasty, will try that next time!

High quality cuisine in an elegant environment - Edit
We have been to Amaranto for dinner.
Read moreThe place is elegant but not formal, the owner is nice and has a real vegan approach to food but not only.
Food was really delicious, price was in line with the place and quality of food. In the end for two starters, two main dishes and a glass of wine we spent 50 euros. Well worth by the way.
We would definitely go back if we have the chance.

Tiny and overprized portions - Edit
I went here for dinner few days ago. The location is excellent, attentive and fast service, the general atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable elegant.
Read moreThe menu, frequently updated with fresh organic ingredients according to the season, offers an intriguing selection of vegan, raw and gluten-free dishes.
But… too expensive for tiny portions.
I tried raw sushi, a tasteless muscolo di grano (wheat's muscle) with a good stuffed artichoke.
I also had a 20 euros tasting menu (“degustazione Amaranto”), a single dish containing five small samples. I finished dinner with an apple pie slice and a coffee.
We had water and green tea even though you can find a wide selection of wines.
Food is nicely plating but overprized for the portion size. Sadly we left the restaurant still hungry.
Pros: food quality
Cons: tiny portions

Mixed Experience - Edit
It's not such big deal to find vegetarian or vegan meal option in Italy. But it's always nice to visit a "pure vegan" restaurant.
Read moreWe were there for lunch. The Amaranto offeres a lunch buffet, not a menu. Well, the buffet was good, no doubt, a lot of offers. But not really surprising.
Paying by weight is an option I don't really like; from my perspective 21EUR/kg is too expensive.
