Excellent vegan restaurant! We were so happy to discover this restaurant on our last trip to Valencia and can't wait to return to Valencia to enjoy the wonderful, creative dishes at Amaranta. The owners are very personable and enthusiastic about offering healthy vegan food for their customers.

i had a sandwich. it was tasty and huge. the first time i went the waiter told me that not everything is vegan. second time i was told that everything is vegan (except for cows milk as choice for hot drinks) so i am not sure if all the food is vegan or not

I would not recommend this place. The so called Buddha bowl is nothing more than a salad with a little Buch wheat and beans from a can that weren’t even rinsed. They had that slimey taste and texture that canned beans have. All over it was tasteless. The atmosphere is not very comforting and the street where it’s located is just plain ugly.

I arrived an hour and a half before they closed at 5pm and was told the menu del dia had run out, which was disappointing. So, if you're aiming for that, get there early.
Read moreI ordered an energetic brunch which was tasty but very oily. I expect fries to be greasy but was sad that the beans were also swimming in oil. It was good though. As was the juice I ordered. Which came with A PLASTIC STRAW. Seriously, if a vegan/health conscious place can't stop using single use plastic, what hope do we have?
I think the waiter was suffering from end of season fatigue.
Pros: good juices. Nice outside seating or aircon inside
Cons: PLASTIC STRAWS. Greasy food.

We had a summer salad for 7,60€ and it was good. The location is cute, you can sit outside. Breakfast & brunch are until 1 pm. The food was tasty, but the waiter seemed a little unmotivated (however the waitress seemed very kind)! Overall, it is nice and actually surprising that everything is vegan :)

We went here three times during our stay in Valencia so we got to try breakfast, lunch menu and coffee & croissants. Overall the service and food is really good - the food is maybe slightly on the under-seasoned side, but we were very happy with everything we tried.

The restaurant is clean, cozy, and well decorated. They offer "menú del día" for 12€, which includes soup, salad, main course, and a dessert. Every single dish was creative, colorful and full of flavor! The hostess is friendly and professional, and even the chef came to every table to ask how we were doing. Amazing experience all around.

I regret, that I was only there for cake and coffee, because it was so damn delicious. I really want to try their lunch and breakfast offers next time. They must be really good too and their prices are super fair. The couple running that place was so nice and helpful and welcoming. I suggest everyone to go there!! When I asked, everything they had was vegan. I couldn't even decide what cake to eat, because everything looked so goooood :D vegan dreams come true 😍

We were looking for a place to start our day and it was exactly what we wanted. The place is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The two owners, a woman and a man, worked from an open kitchen.
Read moreThe food was terrific. The smoothie with spinach was super smooth. The corn wrap with beans had a splendid sauce inside. The breakfast with vegan sausage was good - not terrific. The tea was of a very high quality. And the carrot cake was out of this world. She also grinds her own organic cinnamon that went with it.
The owners are also just really nice, the kind you are very happy to support.
And the prices were more than reasonable.
Pros: Atmosphere, Being open earlier than the others - convenient, Everyone friendly and owner knows English

Fabulous food, the chef is so inventive, every day is a different daily menu and every dish is so tasty, light and delicious. This is really some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten. Recommend the daily menu. Not expensive. Restaurant is clean and light and is run by two lovely people.

Well worth a visit - Edit
Having read reviews of this new restaurant we decided to try it out and where not disappointed. The menu consists of four courses. Each course the food was well presented but far more importantly delicious. Its cheap too particularly for a restaurant close tothe city centre. This restaurant has been added to the other two and three that we visit when we go into Valencia and I look forward to the next time. Just one more thing for those who do not speak Spanish the menu is also in English which the waitress speaks it too.

I just had the most delicious lunch here! The woman serving me was so kind. I had three courses and a dessert for a very reasonable price. Lentil curry soup, rice balls with avocado, some sort of quinoa dish with beans and veg, and a raw pie for dessert. It was so delicious and beautifully presented.

They make great raw cakes! The apple tart was seriously delicious. They also create some exciting combos from scratch. The chef knows a lot about whole foods and doesn't use anything that's white or any sugar if it isn't necessary.
