Who knew? - Edit
That's a great title for this little Bakery located inside Field's Market in West Hills, CA. I walked in there yesterday to grab some treats for myself as I had learned that the neighborhood market was now catering to us Vegans! I was so shocked to learn that the whole bakery carried delicious Vegan baked goods (even some Gluten free stuff). I walked away with a blueberry scone and peanut butter bar and ate them in complete and utter satisfaction. I returned at night with my Gluten Free sister and tried the gluten free sandwich cookie, chocolate gluten free scone, and gluten free vanilla cupcake. In all honesty, I didn't eat anything that I did not thoroughly enjoy but my favorite treat was the blueberry scone (I'm not too keen on super sweet stuff and the blueberry scone seemed virtually sugar free).
THANK YOU AMANDA!
Pros: Friendly, Clean, DELICIOUS

Delicious to Vegans and Non-Vegans Alike - Edit
I'm a chocolate person, through and through, and Amanda's chocolate chip cookies and Boston Cream doughnuts never disappoint on that score. What's more, she's actually got me liking the non-chocolate options, too - cinnamon rolls (delicious), cupcakes, doughnuts, cookies, fruit tarts, and more. She's always baking up something new, so it's worth going on different days to see what's fresh out of the oven... and if you want something she hasn't tried yet, talk to her! She's very friendly and always seems open to new ideas and requests.
Don't forget to get a coffee or tea, too - personally, I go for a lovely latte every time.
Bottom line: friendly service from Amanda or her one of her lovely parents, lots of yummy vegan baked goods, and a reliably delicious drink (dairy-free or not) to go with it. All good reasons to keep going back!
Pros: Delicious pastries, lots of choices, Friendly service, Espresso machine
Cons: Hard to spot from the street

Such a find! - Edit
Amanda's Bakery and Cafe is a gem in the valley. I am always shocked that everything is vegan! (I suspect witchcraft.) Her inventory changes by the day but I recommend the maple "bacon" donuts and zucchini bread.
Old school service and good times... GO!
Pros: Delicious Vegan Sweets, Friendly Staff, High Quality
Cons: Amanda isn't in my kitchen right now!
