Great atmosphere, delicious food

We had the cheese plate which was delicious to start as well as a delicious carbonara with smoked tempeh, pesto fusilli, and a beautifully layered pasta lasagna. The tiramisu was a perfect finishing touch. Not all items are vegan so just specify that you would like your meals vegan.

Pretty good

It’s decorated nicely and we enjoyed the ambiance at dinner time. However, it seemed like the lasagne was microwaved from frozen (we saw the microwave in use) so it didn’t have great flavour/texture. We also ordered the pesto pasta which was good and the tiramisu which I thoroughly enjoyed. So overall, a little bit hit and miss.

Pros: Tiramisu , Ambience , Decor

Cons: Microwave lasagne

Not vegan

Ate at Amami several times…. but was disheartened to learn recently through a promotional post on Facebook by the restaurant that it serves chicken eggs upon request (in order to cater to vegetarians). Therefore, the restaurant is not vegan, sadly… and should not represent itself as such. Personally, I prefer to support restaurants that do not profit from animal exploitation (ie. vegan restaurants) for numerous reasons. Luckily, there is a phenomenal vegan Italian restaurant in Bali called Kasto.

Pros: Italian food is my favourite type of food, The restaurant is mainly plant-based

Cons: Restaurant serves animal products, Restaurant misrepresents itself as “vegan”

Disappointed

I really wanted to love this place. Went on a date and the blender from the kitchen was so loud and running constantly and even louder emo ballads it was hard to hear. Pizza was soggy and fell apart. Ravioli pasta too thick and unmelted yuck cheese on top. Gnocchi was inedible. Kinda like bland, dry, stale baby food with more unmelted cheese on top. When we asked for plates to share we were given flat stones you normally use to put hot plates ON. Without asking we were abruptly given the bill and told we needed to pay. No warning that they'd be closing soon, very obvious they wanted us out immediately. I wouldn't go back which is a shame. I love Italian!

Decent vegan Italian

I had the garlic bread which had been microwaved and was kind of soggy, the flavour was so nice would’ve been much nicer if they maybe would have grilled it after or something.

Also had the vegan carbonara, very filling and the smoked tempeh gave it that ‘bacon’ flavour. I think the seasoning needs adjusting slightly as it was a bit sweet but overall decent.

Pros: Huge vegan menu

Creamy carbonara

Great concept, 100% vegan Italian restaurant, without restrictions, huge selection of pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. Really enjoyed the carbonara they have, not as pricey as i thought either. Highly recommend.

Food was alright, service was poor..

I ate one afternoon and was the only customer, staff showed no interest in me. Tried several times to get their attention but to busy on their phones.. food was alright. Nothing special but pretty cool to have a vegan Italian in Bali..

Super impressive

Was very surprised to find a fully vegan Italian restaurant in Bali! The Sunday taster menu is excellent value with 4 courses (shared between 2) for 30,000. Huge variety and the food was yummy.

If you get a chance, try Moksa Ubud, it's the loveliest dining on the island.

Delicious Italian

Anami is an all-vegan Italian restaurant featuring pizzas, pastas, paninis, and desserts.

We ordered the mushroom pizza which had the tastiest crust, although the middle was a little flaccid from the moisture. The beef sandwich was on delicious, fresh baked bread and full of flavor. The tiramisu is the BEST vegan tiramisu I’ve ever had. A must.

Pros: Amazing Italian food, All vegan menu, Tiramisu

Cons: Pricey

Delicious!

Seriously good food. We tried the ravioli and the four cheese pizza, I would recommend them both. Super flavorful. High quality vegan cheese makes all the difference. I also tried the tiramisu, it was nice! The staff are lovely as well.

New Year’s Eve meal

Glad we are here for a special NYE meal.

I had the carbonara (very creamy and lovely, would have again 10/10!) and my non vegan partner had the lasagna (he said it could’ve had more tomato flavour but was otherwise good). We shared the Tuscany bruschetta and tiramisu. I feel like vegan cheese isn’t quiet there yet in Indonesia so don’t expect much from it - saying that, I’m still really happy with the food and it didn’t need fancy strong cheese to be good!

I’d definitely go back if I ever visit canggu again!
Also great service and happy to help staff. Nice clean restaurant.

We paid around £21 for 2 main meal, 1 starter, 1 dessert and 2 drinks which is a little pricy for Bali/canggu but totally worth it as a treat! #Veganuary

Pros: Amazing food! , Great service , All vegan!

Great pizza 🍕

I haven’t eaten in here yet as it is closed. But we did order pizza off Gojek. I ordered margarita and it was very good. They cost a bit more than your regular vegan pizza place but I think it is definitely worth it. We also ordered the bolognese which was nice too. I am happy that there is a fully vegan Italian here in Bali and I am excited to visit them in person soon!

Pros: All vegan Italian 😍 - what more can you ask for?, Great pizzas

Cons: Slightly pricey (for Bali) for small pizza

THE BEST CREAMY CARBONARA I'VE EVER TRIED

Holy mother of pasta!
The creamy carbonara in this place is unbeatable.
The only thing that I dislike is how unfriendly this place is to my bank account😅

Pros: Vegan Italian

Cons: Bit too pricey
