Nice ambient - Edit
Think this is the second place other than boneless kitchen that offers Korean food. Wish they have more authentic Korean options.

Interesting Korean-Western Fusion Dishes - Edit
Vegetarian Korean-Western fusion cafe with a nice ambience and an adjacent pottery studio. The menu is quite clearly labelled; the dishes are either vegan by default, or vegetarian but with vegan options (choosing no egg/cheese). Some dishes can also be made allium-free upon request. My favourites are the veganised Doenjang Truffle Risotto and Jardin Bibimbap, both of which use barley instead of rice, as well as the Twigim Tofu Sticks. Their drinks are also really unique and good, especially the Iced Ginseng Smoothie (made using agave nectar instead of honey) and Strawberry Chung Milk (made using Oatly). Btw they have a biweekly special menu at a discounted price in exchange for feedback (e.g. special drinks), as they are testing out the response to the items they're R&D-ing to see which should become part of the permanent menu.

A new food experience at this boutique café - Edit
Need chilling, I’m looking for something different to start my weekend in a relaxing way and landed at Am I Addicted - Pottery Studio & V Café ! Pottery studio with creative and unique Korean-inspired vegetarian dishes (with vegan options). That’s cool.
Read moreI love the chic modern décor here. May not be able to find many such chic vegetarian café with creative fusion options.
Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich ($16++), fusion food, marrying kimchi and sandwich, ordering this for a little food adventure. Well balance combination, even if you are not a big fan of kimchi. I love this.
The “Hooked on Gochujang Fries ($8++)” another creative creation. Gochujang special sauce just nice not overwhelming, able to taste the aroma of freshly roasted sesame seeds. I love the thoughtfulness in serving this dish, I can taste the original favour of the fries, if I don’t want fries with drenching Gochujang special sauce.
You can order this for sharing, for those who not a fan of Gochujang, go for the fries on the sides, without the sauce. Not too sure, whether it can be done, if you request to have the sauce serves separately.
In total, I paid S$28.08 for this late lunch here. Pampered myself and enjoyed a low carbon footprint (vegetarian) meal. So nice and relaxing in this boutique café. Happy Me!

Limited allium-free dishes - Edit
Only some of their menu items can be done without allium. For the mains, there is the Garbanzo Beetroot Salad, Birds of Paradise, Truffle Risotto, Kale Salad that can be done without allium. For the other mains like Bibimbap and Pasta, can change the topping for Bibimbap to soy sauce and sesame oil, and the base of the Pasta be changed to soy sauce base to accommodate your request. But will soy sauce nice??
Read moreFor the nibbles, without allium would be
Konjac Fish Fingers
Tofu sticks
Truffle fries
Sweet potato fries
We love the refreshing ginseng milk tea (honey=agave) and garbanzo beetroot salad.
Vegan cheese doesn't melt into the fries and the tofu stick was made with firm tofu.
Thankfully they provide us with vegan and allium-free mayo and tomato as dip for tofu & fries.
Pros: Spacious, Cosy
Cons: Expensive , Limited allium-free selection

Creative Korean fusion in a hip and cosy cafe - Edit
Trying out one of the newest kids on the vegetarian block, a cosy cafe serving up creative Korean fusion cuisine tucked away in the quiet basement of Capitol Singapore.
Read moreThe hip and relaxed atmosphere set me at ease immediately, serenaded softly by Kpop tunes in the background while a friendly and charming oppa attended to us. 🥰 With five of us we could order quite a few dishes to share, so I managed to try all of the following:
DRINKS
Tomato Basil Chung Ade - A friend ordered this, and let me have a sip. Surprisingly fragrant and refreshing - I did not expect the fruity and herbal notes to blend as harmoniously as they did, and this definitely stands out as a favourite of the night.
Iced Chestnut Latte - Stole a sip from another friend; enjoyed the nutty, earthy body and roasted overtones.
Creme Brulee Latte - Pleasantly thick and creamy with a robust body; I couldn't quite taste the brulee anymore after mixing it in, but it did look pretty and I enjoyed it nonetheless.
NIBBLES
Twigim Tofu Sticks - Crispy and well seasoned, our table enjoyed this. Served with a zesty lemon wedge and salad on the side.
Le Aubergines - We found this relatively underwhelming in comparison, with the flesh a little dry and the skin a little tough. I did enjoy the balsamic overtones, however.
MAINS
Garbanzo Beetroot Salad - We ordered this vegan, which unfortunately just meant omitting the egg. Still, the incredibly flavourful beetroot hummus easily won us over, and we generally agreed upon this as our favourite dish of the night (although one of us did get a "mouthful of salt" at one point). Personally, I would have loved to layer everything on that plate over toast, or perhaps in a grain bowl instead to make it a little more complete as a main.
Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich - The shredded cheese didn't come across very strongly for me, and I found the sandwich overall lacking in punch; I've definitely had better grilled sandwiches at WellSmoocht as well as my own workplace. I did enjoy the olive oil in the sandwich as well as the sesame oil in the side salad, however.
Doenjang Truffle Risotto - Once again, we ordered this vegan by omitting the egg. Some of us found this a little heavy, but I like heavy. I enjoyed this, and might have enjoyed it even more had I not spent about a million years taking pictures while the food cooled down.
[continued in comments below]
AprilAvalon
Torta di Riso Pasta - The bold gochujang sauce worked perfectly with the ddokbokki, and even the konjac-based mock squid and shrimp. As a pasta sauce, however, I found it too sweet and too watery for my liking. I'd much rather just have this as a simple ddokbokki, or alternatively throw all of that sauce into the next dish...
Read moreJardin Bibimbap - Once again, ordering this vegan simply meant leaving out the poached egg. I enjoyed the smooth and springy texture of the barley rice, but found this dish otherwise bland and forgettable, with a much too underpowered gochujang compared to the previous dish. But remember what I said earlier about wanting the beetroot hummus in a grain bowl? A single dollop of that would have made this dish much better, methinks.
DESSERT
Peach Cream Sherbet - Loved the smooth and rich whipped cream and the tangy peach sorbet; when mixed together however, the latter tended to overpower the former, and I found it delicious overall albeit a little sharp. The mint garnish while aesthetically sound served no functional purpose whatsoever, much like the Lilliputian dessert spoon they provided - I ended up drinking my dessert through the glass straw used for my creme brulee latte; my friends without a straw had to finish up enough of the cream first before they could mix the rest into the sorbet without spilling. I'd try blending a little mint into the sorbet itself to balance out the flavours, as well as serving it in a bowl with a larger spoon to make it easier to mix and scoop.
All in all, a fulfilling evening spent with good food, good company (surprised by a couple of old MCC regulars there!), and great service. Oppa was still my favourite dish, 10/10 would order again. 🤭

A different kind of Korean vegan cuisines full of surprises - Edit
"Am I Addicted" is a Korean vegetarian cafe serving fusion Korean food. Lots of vegan options and interesting items. The tomato Basil chung ade drink is super nice and refreshing. Tofu sticks sounds ordinary but actually very special and delicious. The pink color salad which is the Garbanzo Beetroot Salad is also a surprise as we didn't expect it to be so nice.
Read moreThis is definitely a place to chill, has a cuppa and enjoy delicious unique vegan food. Oh if you are keen, there are pottery classes too!
Best items I ❤ most:
Garbanzo Beetroot Salad
- this was a surprise. I wouldn't have ordered among all the items in the menu. However this is very very declicious as a salad. I was expecting sweetneas given the pinm look but it was not. Taste is so well balance.
TWIGIM tofu sticks
- Best of the best among all items. The smokey taste on the tofu raises eyebrows! I also like the salad that come with it. I am definitely coming back just to eat this.
......
The rest:
Jardin Bibimbap
- totally different from the usual bibimbap. Less of the gochujjang. Uses barley rice instead od normal rice. I feel like this is a salad rather than a korean bibimbap. Taste is good overall.
Torta Di Riso Pasta
- Taste is not as amazing as it looks somehow, a bit on the sweet side. Spicy level is more than the usual which I like. The heat comes later actually. It has tteokbokki in there, Sort of reminding me of rabokki (ramen with tteokbokki).
Le Aubergines
- erhm I didn't quite like this. Texture a bit mushy and I am not use to the taste.
Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich
- Salad is good! The kimchi in there makes this sandwich different from usual cheese sandwich. I will come back for it for sure.
Doejang Truffle Risotto
- if one is looking for rich cheesy taste, this will be it which is rare for a vegan dish. A bit too milky to my liking but definitely will be loved by those whom miss baked rice.
Peach Cream Sherbet (Dessert)
- Good balance of sourness from lemon and sweetness from vegan whip cream. Perfect combi for sure.
Tomato Basil ade (Drinks)
Very special drink! Not too sweet like usual ade. Refreshing with tomato, basil and mint taste.

Satisfying food, great ambience, helpful staff - Edit
drinks~
Read moreMenu was extensive, however, the ginseng section all contained honey and hence wasn't vegan friendly. I tried the Chestnut Latte and it was filling. the initial taste was unlike chestnut, more like the Korean Mixed-Grain (Misugaru) drink. The more I drank, the more the chestnut taste built up. (8/10)
nibbles~
TWIGIM Tofu Sticks was a dish I really didn't want to share with my friends at the table. It was very savoury and had just the right amount of bite in it. (10/10)
Le Aubergines seemed to come highly recommended, as it had two images on the menu, while the other items went unrepresented. The flavour was pleasant, but the texture was very disappointing. The eggplant had been roasted until the insides were soft and mushy, yet the skin was leathery and tough. (4/10)
mains~
Garbanzo Beetroot Salad was a surprise; the deep pink of beetroot hummus had fragrant olive oil and salt in it, which came as a surprise; you would be expecting beetroot to be sweet, not salty. It went well with the salad components of avocado, grapes, leafy greens and cherry tomato. (9/10)
Jardin Bimbimbap used barley grain instead of the usual rice. While it might be the health-conscious choice, it made the dish very toothy and I had to take a longer time to chew on it. The seaweed condiment was served in plastic packaging on the side. This dish could be better shared than as a personal serve. (6/10)
Torta Di Riso Pasta was another dish that did not live up to my expectations of it. It was too sweet for my taste, but it was good that the spice built up over time. Every solid item in the plate was chewy, which means the heat stayed for a long time. (6/10)
Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich packed the ingredients loosely in between the bread, and the ingredients escaped easily. The kimchi cut through the density of the bread and the cheese and this made for a good reprieve in my meal. (8/10)
Doenjang Truffle Risotto had the most intrusive smell on the table. The truffle scented wafted up upon reaching the table and as it was placed close to me, I was drooling even before dishing it out. It was also made from barley grain instead of risotto rice, which made it different from the usual risottos. The volume would have been enough to feed two, on another occasion. (8/10)
dessert~
Peach Cream Sherbet put an amazing fullstop to the meal. The plant-based whip freshened my tastebuds with sweetness and mild saltiness. The sherbet had refreshingly cleansed my palate. (9/10)
Pros: Broad range of drink choices, Attentive Service, More than just a dining location.
Cons: Some dishes are non-vegan by default, Not Halal Certified

Good Ambience with Delicious Gourmet! - Edit
Doenjang Truffle Risotto was delicious! The consistency and texture of the rice was just right with a really simple subtle flavour of herbs! Twigim Tofu Sticks (Tofu with Korean Style Special Sauce) was also fried to the right crispy crunch without losing the softness of tofu! The Strawberry Chung Milk (장기방 우유) makes you feel like you are chilling in a cafe in Korea! Overall the ambience and food was worth the price despite the price on the higher side!

Nice ambience - Edit
Had truffle risotto and torta di riso pasta which taste okay for me… prefer the strawberry Chung milk! I would honestly only go back for the milk and ambience rather than the food but nonetheless still a nice experience. Staff were friendly for me to approach and enquire whether I can remove the onion, garlic, and leek. Wanted to try their grilled cheese sandwich but they ran out of cheese when I visited them. Would be good to have more allium free options

I Almost Turned Vegetarian - Edit
For the people who knew me, they know I don't eat vegetables much. The kind that would pick out all the veggies in the dish and set it aside. But I got to try Am I Addicted and it was so good! I honestly didn't come for the food but purely for the pottery lessons. After we were done with the lesson, I was reluctant to order as I know it's vegetarian/vegan cafe but I tried it and I didn't regret it a single bit. 10/10 would come again.
