Friendly staff, tasty vegan fast food - Edit
Vegan options taste great, staff is very flexible to make dishes according to your wishes. Vegan is slowly growing in Dortmund, so hopefully they will switch to fully vegan sometime soon.

Nice place and good food - Edit
You can design your own wrap with the ingredients they offer (much like Subway) and they have many vegan options. I tried the falafel wrap and it was delicious!

Starke Nudeln - Edit

Great Snacks - Edit
Nice small shop for a snack while shopping. We planned to have a pizza but the vegan cheese was sold out. So we had a falafel wrap and rice with fried vegetables. It was really good and the price was pretty good. The staff was also really nice and helpful. I can recommend to give them a chance.

Good food, fast, nice folks - Edit
If you need a quick vegan pizza, with or without vegan cheese, this is a good option. The employees are happy to answer questions, and the owner always seems to be there.

Lecker! - Edit

This is an odd happycow entry - Edit
Went there for late breakfast last month for it was the most convenient option. The name seemed promising, too, I did expect some community-run business. However, Alternatif is pretty much an ordinary kebab shop to be honest. There is nothing vegan on the menu, but I asked for a falafel wrap without any dairy ingredients. Staff knew what vegan means and was friendly. However, I was pretty confused why on earth this place had been added to happycow. It was only afterwards that I discovered a vegan pizza option in the vitrine facing outside, that I hadn't seen entering, hence I had been entering from the other side and in addition to that there was a parking supplier's car standing in front of that. So, yeah, you can get something vegan at Alternatif. Still, there is also meat everywhere. Service was fair, food alright, price good, but overall not very appealing in my opinion. Charmless interior.
