Good vegan banana bread - Edit
We got an açaí bowl and a vegan banana bread. We had to tell them that we don’t want honey in the açaí bowl because it’s not vegan. It was good so we were glad to stop here but it took a long time since it was breakfast time and many customers were waiting.

Absolutely fantastic Açai - Edit
Very easy to substitute the honey for agave.
Read moreVery sweet and delicious Açai with fresh and juicy fruit. The Açai blend itself was still a bit icy, but it had a lot of flavour and on a hot day that was a great texture!
Incredibly friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Alo - Edit
I had the cacao bowl and it was so fresh and delicious. I added honey and hemp seeds to mine. The fruit was so fresh and soft, perfect! Everything is plant based besides some honey in items or upon request. Not much seating though, it is more of grab and go.

Great spot! - Edit
Perfect spot for coffee or healthy light options. So much of the food in Waikiki can be pretty heavy, so if you need a break from that and want to eat clean, come here.

Freshly made and healthy - Edit
Plant based cafe. Food is amazing and freshly made in front of you. We had the avocado toast and banana toast with a papaya banana smoothie. Prices are lower than anywhere else in Waikiki. The avocado toast was probably the best I've ever had.

Super yummy Açai Bowls - Edit
It's a cute little café that sells vegan banana bread, hawaiian rolls, bowls, coffee and smoothies. You can change the honey they put in the bowls to agave syrup to make them vegan. We had two different bowls which were both delicious!

Loved the banana bread so much that I had to go back and buy another loaf the next day! I also had the lilikoi (passion fruit) bowl. So zingy and delish.

I have been twice during my trip to Waikiki and loved it both times- I had the cacao/peanut butter/banana bowl which comes with lots of toppings and is really tasty. The coffee was good and my servers both times were really helpful and kind

Smoothie Place - Edit
ALO has a lot of smoothies, all fruit based, no protein. It also has vegan banana bread. The only two non-sugar items are a hummus wrap and avocado toast. The hummus wrap was good but very small for the price. I think this is a good place to go for dessert but not much else.

Honey, honey isn’t vegan. - Edit
A lot of vegan options here have honey in them, perhaps they consider switching out for agave? The avocado toast had the perfect avo on it, but hardly any seasoning and on bread that can be purchased at the ABC store. The juice we had was a refreshing pineapple mint.

I was there in May 2023, and they advertised and offered agave, but you have to ask for it

Alo - Edit
Super cute but small café that is almost 100% vegan. The only thing that is not vegan is their pina colada smoothie. They also offer a few food items including banana bread (which was delicious!), a wrap, and some other food items that I can’t remember. They also offer lots of nice smoothies. The staff were super friendly and kind.
