Hotel in the middle of a conservation area, in the mountains a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck. Ask for the vegan menu card and vegan wine card. For hotel guests, the chef will prepare a 4 course vegan menu, including salads from a daily changing buffet with at least one vegan sauce declared, a vegan soup, a vegan main course, which could be inspired by Oriental spices as well as by Tyrolian traditions, and a dessert. For breakfast, you could get vegan specials at their table, separated from the non-vegan buffet, with yogurt, tofu, cheese, salami and sausages, cookies and chocolates. Has Wi-Fi. Open Mon-Sun 12:00-20:00.

Vegan food with a great view - Edit
If it is warm enough you can sit outside having a stunning view on the surrounding mountains. Vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu and are good. I recommend getting the Wiener Schnitzel made out of Saitan. The only vegan dessert they offer is Apfelstrudel (apple pie). Remember to tell the waiter that you want it without any vanilla souce or cream (both are not vegan). Possibilities to hike or simply going for a walk there. Perfect for a small daytrip since it is located outside of Innsbruck.

(Porzione del piatto principale un po’ troppo abbi abbondante per noi ma davvero buono)
Pros: Molte opzioni vegane dalla colazione alla cena , Acqua frizzante direttamente dalla loro Fontana

good vegan Schnitzel, but ambiguous ingredients in Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce - Edit
The vegan Schnitzel was very good and a large portion but the vanilla sauce that was served with the Apfelstrudel contained cow's milk. The waiter assured me that it was vegan but he also thought cheese was vegan and when I asked what plant milk they use, he said he didn't know and that it was from a can. I would definitely recommend the vegan Schnitzel but would be very careful when ordering dessert.

Amazing hotel with tasty vegan food - Edit
The Almi's staff is very friendly and is happy to accomodate for vegans. No need to worry about the food, they are well-informed😄Soap and shampoo are cruelty-free, we appreciated it too!
Read moreThe hotel is family run, with a great atmosphere. The wellness is gorgeous, and last but not least, you can rent material for outdoor activities, or even go on tour with Stefan, professional montain guide.
I'll go back to the Almi's for sure!
Pros: Vegan friendly, cruelty-free amenities, Possibility to rent bio-bikes for free or e-bikes
Cons: The deer horns and cow skin decorating the place, but that's a vegan friendly place, not a vegan one

Sylvester 2019/2020 - Edit

Herzliche Wirtsleute. - Edit
Bei Almis passt einfach alles. Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst. Die Chefin ist in Service. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr bemüht. Das Vegane Angebot schmeckt uns sehr. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Vegan Holiday in the Snow - A Time to Remember! - Edit
We've spent an all too short week at Almi's. Though the Restaurant is omnivore, there's nothing a vegan heart could miss. There's a special vegan menu card, a vegan wine menu, and vegan hotel guests get a vegan menu card printed for them every day - made with an incredible amount of skill, care and creativity!
Read moreBreakfast for us was a bounty of vegan delicacies, with vegan basics and special treats and homemade specialities, and little but lovely surprises every day. Moreover, we were asked to provide ourselves with sandwiches from the breakfast buffet for our hiking tours - really very generous.
A speciality of the house is the Granderwasser, from a draught like an ancient well - I can't explain why or how, but tastes truly delicious.
Food overall was plenty, made with a lot of love and thought, and prepared to please the eye no less - a pleasure to look at, and to eat. Not really cheap, but good value and more.
Hotel owners are very considerate and caring, and I hope they'll have many more vegan guests to encourage them on their way - they deserve it!
Pros: The most friendly people ever, Warm atmosphere in the house, Truly excellent food
Cons: Not wholly vegetarian ...
