Amazing place! - Edit

It's very small and basic but they have a gorgeus vegan menu with sweet and salad crepes, juices, meals, quinoa, burguers, vegan chocolate, vegan ice cream and more.
We went there for three days in many times and se enjoy everything.

Pros: Vegan options, Big plates, Good flavor and Cheap!

Cons: absolutely nothing

Best place to eat in Coroico - Edit

In the 3 days we visited on numerous occasions. One morning we were sad to see the cafe wasn't open for breakfast, so tried another cafe in town. We were really disappointed with the food we were served. On walking back to our hostel, we saw Almendra was open and we're so sad we had not waited a little longer. The cafe is closed on Thur & Fri, at other times if the door is closed during opening times. Be patient and wait, the owner may have gone to buy supplies from market. She always returns soon and you won't regret it.

Pros: good price, healthy, cooked with love

delicious inexpensive food! - Edit

tucked away in the comedor just off the plaza principal, this litte restaurant is full of delicious food. though a small space, we were able to seat comfortably 4 adults and 4 children, and there was still another small table empty to the side. the owner has a lunch menu for only 15 bs (about $2), with the menu changing daily according to availability. the sonzo dish was particularly popular - a sonza is a baked cheese and potato cake, similar to a gratin, popular in the Santa Cruz area of Bolivia. the crepes were a hit with the kids, and I enjoyed the best veggie burger i've had in Bolivia so far. there are three veggie buger options - lentil, garbanzo, and quinoa. there are also omelettes and other sandwiches. tons of vegan options, and lots of vegetarian. also i believe there are vegan ice creams and vegan cosmetics, and also some jewelry for sale. great space and great food - will definitely be back.

Pros: excellent food, good value, very central

Cons: slightly small space

yummy meals and friendly owner - Edit

The place is very basic but the food is prepared with love. Who would have thought you would find such a lovely little (vegan) place in Coroico, or a place at all!!
There is a separate menu for vegans which is lovely and there is even vegan homemade chocolate and ice cream! Not amazing but it is a treat :)
Please go and support this lovely business :)

Pros: great owner , nice atmosphere , yummy food

Delicious food in a lovely place - Edit

We loved this place! It's a simple space inside the comedor, but nicely decorated and with a good vibe. The owner is very friendly and she knows how to make your stomach and soul happy :) We had delicious crepes (stuffed with veggies and a tasty sauce), as well as a really nice lunch menu, awesome fruit juices and the best ice-cream we've tasted in Bolivia. Definitely recommended!
