Carrot cake ... mmm! - Edit
A lovely little place for delicious tea and, in my opinion, the world's finest carrot cake. I really should choose something else next time, but if carrot cake's on offer it will be impossible to resist!

Absolutely gorgeous cakes - Edit
A lovely cafe in a quiet bit of Hebden beside the river with seats inside and outside. We had the Victoria Sponge cupcake and raspberry crumble to takeaway. Both were delicious and I've no photos as we'd eaten it before we had a chance to take a pic.

Delicious cakes in a cute space - Edit
I stopped by at Alma's for a cake and coffee while exploring Hebden Bridge. The hardest part was choosing what I wanted; everything looked delicious and I couldn't believe it was all vegan. I went for a lemon and poppy seed drizzle cake, and it was an excellent choice: it was zesty, moist and delicious. The coffee was really good, too. Bonus points for the company of Lola the dog (not sure if it belongs to the owners, but it seemed so).

A Cake Beautiful to Look At and Delicious to Eat - Edit
Alma’s Ethical Cakes baked me a custom 70th birthday cake. Their service was friendly and attentive, and they followed my request absolutely but crafted the cake to make it beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. I could not have asked for more.

One day in Hebden Bridge… - Edit
Arrived by train just after lunch. Dropped off the luggage at the B&B. Wandered off to find somewhere to have a cup of coffee and ‘a bun’ and stumbled across Alma’s Ethical Cakes & Bakes.
Read moreGood choice of delicious cakes. We plumped for the Biscoff cake and the carrot cake. Both delicious but the carrot cake, with its moist texture and gentle spicy flavour gets higher marks!
And the coffee? 👌🫶

Location on a quiet road by the water.
Highly recommend this lovely cafe!

This is a lovely little cafe in Hebden Bridge, it's great to have a place for vegan desserts. The cake selection is impressive and everything is well made and decorated. I got takeaway cakes from here but look forward to visiting in the future and sitting in the cafe. A little gem of a place!

This place looks absolutely lovely on the inside. Freshly renovated and stylish and the cupcakes and cakes all look very professional.
Read moreWe had a slice of the lemon cake, which had icing, cream and lemon curd. It tasted absolutely lovely.
Looking forward to returning. The owner said she will be adding coffees to the menu and there will be some seating as well.
They also do catering according to their website.
