Not vegetarian- no vegan options

Serves mostly meat with a tiny vegetarian section and no dedicated vegan options

Great concept and nice atmosphere

Alma de Colores reopened their restaurant and artesanian store in a different location. They are serving lunch (2 out of 3 options veganizable), selling their artesanal creations and bread. The market has still not returned. The burrito with homemade pita was a decent lunch option. Go and support their activities if you are around.

A chance to know a very interesting project

Alma de colores is more that a restaurant, it is a place where you can share knowledge about the ancient Maya wisdom about food preparation and about the link between health and food. The staff is very friendly. The higiene is excellent and the food also. Many vegetables are collected on the same day from the organic garden and you can also visit it.

Pros: Friendly staff, Nice food mainly organic, Vegan options by previous information
