Beautiful Interior Design and Yummy Food - Edit
The interior design was very beautiful and somewhat fancy. There was a 4-man band playing downtempo, fitting Colombian music. The waiter was professional, attentive and funny.
Read moreThere were two vegan options to choose from. I had the Chickpea Bowl (54k COP) and it was very good. I really appreciate that there was a vegan section in the menu and that the vegan wines were clearly labeled as vegan. Unfortunately there was no vegan dessert.
I had a great time at Alma and would recommend it to anyone :)

They have two vegan options in the menu. Both are great. I felt the chickpea bowl is better than the other option, but I don’t think you can go wrong.

I enjoyed the food, but it took over 40 minutes to come out. They comped the table dessert but still. I enjoyed the cauliflower meal while my boyfriend got the vegan chickpea meal. Both delicious

Great food and beautiful surroundings and service - Edit
We had a delightful experience here for lunch. We ordered both the vegan dishes listed in the menu - baked cauliflower and chick pea curry. They both came with sides and were all delicious. Even got gluten free bread rolls to start served with a tasty salsa. It was expensive. Over $70 aust for 2 plates and Soda water and one salad but so worth it! .

They have two marked vegan options on their menu, I had the tamal with cauliflower and hummus. A truly exquisite and flavorful dish, very inspiring. The service was excellent and the whole place very luxurious. I'd just like to see some vegan starters and at least one dessert for sure!

The vegan chickpea dish was tasty and filling. Unfortunately our wait staff were not knowledgeable about veganism and app options so I didn’t get one. They also weren’t as welcoming as other restaurants we tried in town. The vibes were off. Although we dressed in all white and ordered lots of food and drink we still felt unwelcome here. Hopefully others have a different experience.

Good Vegan Options - Edit
Restaurant with above average service. The waiter Félix served us very well. The price is higher than the quality of the food, even though it is haute cuisine. The price is very expensive. There are two vegan options for dishes: “Bowl de Encocado de Garbanzos”, which is a well served dish (it suits me well and I eat a lot lol) and the other dish was the “Coliflor a la Parilla” (a much smaller dish in quantity, compared to the other). We just found the “waiting line” strange since we had many empty tables in the restaurant. The drinks seem expensive at first, but they are served in a very large glass. It might be a cool restaurant to celebrate something special. They usually give an entree (basically, a sauce and patacones), and there is one with vegan options. They "swore" that the sauce was vegan, but I confess I was quite suspicious.

Os pratos são considerados muito caros para a média na Colômbia, e mesmo sendo alta gastronomia, não achei que valesse tudo isso. Existem duas opções veganas de pratos: “Bowl de Encocado de Garbanzos”, que é um prato bem servido (me atende bem e como muito rs) e o outro prato foi o “Coliflor a la Parilla” (prato bem menor em quantidade, comparado com o outro). Só achamos estranha a “fila de espera” (tipo fila “fake”) já que tinham muitas mesas vazias no restaurante. Os drinks parecem caros inicialmente, mas são servidos num copo bem grande. Pode ser um restaurante legal para comemorar alguma coisa especial. Eles costumam dar uma entradinha (basicamente, um molho e patacones), e há uma com opções veganas. Eles “juraram” que o molho era vegano, mas confesso que fiquei bastante desconfiado.

Best vegan options in Cartegna - Edit
Partner and I tried every place in Cartegna on Happy Cow. This one was the best! Absolutely delicious. We had both the chickpea bowl and the grilled cauliflower (which comes with a tamale too) — delicious! It’s a bit fancier and there is live music so make a reservation if you don’t like sitting at bar.

Best vegan food in Cartagena - Edit
This place is beautiful and felt like a really special venue. You should dress up if you go here, but that doesn’t mean that it’s expensive! It’s high end food in a luxury atmosphere for a very good price. £34 for a starter, two mains and two drinks. We were also given bread to begin the meal and there was live music which was another bonus. The food is excellent and I would highly recommend it! They even wines that were labelled vegan.
