Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant offering 6 vegetable curry options and a salad. Check for dairy when ordering. Has menu in English. Reported open August 2023.
Contrary to what the previous review said, we found this place to be perfectly fine and good. The food was tasty and prepared very quickly. We asked them if they could be quick because we wanted to go see the fireworks and they said yes, and they indeed were, prepping everything in like 10 minutes. We got the vegetable curry and dahl w samosa and rice. The servings were generous. The only downside is the food was less flavoursome / spicy than your standard Indian food, but that might just be because it was adjusted for Indian tastes.
Note: We went to the one near Ooike, not this one, so your mileage may vary.
The only “vegan” things on the menu were a vegetable curry, dhal and rice. Even that was at a push. The waitress tried to offer us chicken.. and then after a lot of confusion naan bread.. which we found confusing as very rare to find vegan naan.. until we found out (of course) was made of yoghurt, butter, milk and eggs!. The vegetable curry and dhal tasted exactly the same - the same microwave “ping” for the same microwaved sauce.. we spent about 15 minutes there in total from ordering, cooking, eating and leaving. £18 for x2 curry’s and x1 small rice (no drinks) - unless you want to sh*t in an onsen shortly after your meal I would avoid.
There are plenty of vegan options: various curries, salads, rice, naan. Food quality is also good, although curry portion was really small for the money. Atmosphere is really Indian, what on one hand might be nice and interesting, but on the other - it's an enormous contrast to Japanese sterility and minimalism.

Does the job - Edit
It is open but there is nothing on the menu to indicate what is vegan. Has a small selection of vegetarian meals
