NOT for vegetarians!!! - Edit
Not sure where I went wrong but the little booth with barely any seating was not at all like the older comments said it would be. This place only has chicken kebab. The only vegetarian options are french fries (for 1000 ¥!) and when I asked for more vegetarian options they prepared a tiny cheese sandwich for me (1200 ¥!). At least the staff was very friendly and my husband who eats meet enjoyed his kebab. Either this place has significantly downsized or maybe people accidentally wrote the comment here although they visited the Indian restaurant next doors? Anyway this place should not be on happy cow.

Solid food with a couple of vegan options, quick service - Edit
I got told that only the dal and the vegetable curry are vegan, the others have dairy in it. Apparently also the naan has milk and egg in it! This really surprised me, especially because other people have reviewed that it’s vegan. The waiter seemed really sure about it.
Read moreI enjoyed the dal, nothing special, but decent. The vegetable curry was a little less good in my opinion but still decent. Service was not smiling at all but really quick.
Pros: Vegan options , Knowledge about ingredients , Quick
Cons: Daal not vegan

Nice spot but watch out - Edit
Great vegan options throughout the menu but be sure to remind them what to omit, as nor the menu or the staff mention anything about veganism, just vegetarian. The daal and naan was lush, not too expensive either. They also have chana masala, samosas, and others. Recommend!

The naan isn't vegan, just confirmed now with the staff.

Indian food with veg options - Edit
Mixed veggie curry was quite good. Also had daal on the menu. In Japan, where food without meat/fish is hard to come by, this was a welcome & hearty meal

Ganz ok - Edit

Good food, quick service - Edit
Contrary to what the previous review said, we found this place to be perfectly fine and good. The food was tasty and prepared very quickly. We asked them if they could be quick because we wanted to go see the fireworks and they said yes, and they indeed were, prepping everything in like 10 minutes. We got the vegetable curry and dahl w samosa and rice. The servings were generous. The only downside is the food was less flavoursome / spicy than your standard Indian food, but that might just be because it was adjusted for Indian tastes.

Terrible - Edit
The only “vegan” things on the menu were a vegetable curry, dhal and rice. Even that was at a push. The waitress tried to offer us chicken.. and then after a lot of confusion naan bread.. which we found confusing as very rare to find vegan naan.. until we found out (of course) was made of yoghurt, butter, milk and eggs!. The vegetable curry and dhal tasted exactly the same - the same microwave “ping” for the same microwaved sauce.. we spent about 15 minutes there in total from ordering, cooking, eating and leaving. £18 for x2 curry’s and x1 small rice (no drinks) - unless you want to sh*t in an onsen shortly after your meal I would avoid.

Good way to fill your belly - Edit
There are plenty of vegan options: various curries, salads, rice, naan. Food quality is also good, although curry portion was really small for the money. Atmosphere is really Indian, what on one hand might be nice and interesting, but on the other - it's an enormous contrast to Japanese sterility and minimalism.
Read morePros: A lot of vegan options, Good food quality, Cheap rice and naan
Cons: Small curry portion, Hectic atmosphere
