Serves meat, vegan options available. In late-2016 its menu added vegan items like sqaush alfredo and thai glass noodle salad. Regularly offer vegan specials as well. Chef is also willing to vegan-ize other dishes or prepare something on request. Has full bar and weekend brunch. Open Mon-Sun 12:00am-2:00am, Mon-Fri 11:00am-12:00am, Sat-Sun 9:00am-12:00am.

Slow and out of stock - Edit

I visited based on the positive review i read on here but was disappointed with our visit. Service was overall pretty slow for a restaurant that didn't seem all that busy for a Saturday night and my husband thought all the tables seemed dirty. I ordered a salad with citrus, avocado, almonds and fennel; it was good but overpriced at $9 with almost no dressing and sparse toppings- $7 max. I wanted to order the squash soup with coconut milk and truffle oil. They were out at 7:30 on a Saturday and they were out of my second choice option a thai glass noodle dish. We opted for fries, which were good and fairly priced but i was definitely disappointed that they were out of the two items i really had been interested in (the only vegan, gf items on the menu) and I left still a bit hungry.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Slow service, Messy tables, Out of vegan items

New chef - Edit

Alivia's was previously not vegan-friendly so I was very pleased to find out the new Chef (as of late 2016) added a few vegan items to the menu and seems motivated to add more. I tried a vegan special and it was delicious! Vegan Curry with winter squash and chick peas over Arborio rice finished with paprika oil.
The space has a full far. It's a great location right on Main St (near Brightleaf) and has a nice outdoor seating area.

Pros: vegan-friendly chef, location

Cons: would love to see more options espcially at brunch
