Too Expensive - Edit
We like to support the vegan community when possible, so we generally try our best, especially in areas like this, to support all of the vegan restuarants in the area. This was one of our least favourite. Food is nice but it is definitely not worth the outrageous prices, considering your can get much better tasting food elsewhere in Vilnius AND nearer to the centre. There is very little out this way to sightsee so the main reason most people will be out this way is only to visit the vegan restuarant. It's not worth the walk and is pretty pretentious. It's amazing at those prices it can survive in Vilnius. Quite a pretentious place.

Not worth the price - Edit
The food tasted good, but not any better than less expensive vegan restaurants. I don't think having waiters with button-down shirts is worth the added price. They even charged me 2€ for table water while other restaurants give it for free!

Great food, great service, great music - Edit
Went for a quiet dinner by myself while in Vilnius for work and spent a lovely hour being served gracefully, enjoying stunningly delicious vegan food and a glass of fine wine, while listening to some great jazz sounds.

amazing fine vegan dining - Edit
Great vegan fine dining, the service was slow due to so many people dining and they were not prepared but the staff were lovely and offered us free desserts, the pea soup with cashew was gorgeous (€5), for mains we had tempeh With strawberry (€13) and king oyster mushrooms with truffle (€17), and both were amazing, the dessert was chocolate spheres (€7-8) and was one of the best things I have tasted, great place!!

Very good 'high class' food!

Semi-fine dining - Edit
The quality of the food matches its price: higher than most other places, but lower than real "fine dining". That said, I really enjoyed what I ate, both in terms of taste and visually.

Pros: tastes great, pleasing to the eye

Don't go there hungry - Edit
Modern and spacious restaurant. We were really looking forward to "fine vegan dining". Everything we had ( 6 course tasting menu) was special and tasty and pleasing to the eye. But to be honest- for 35 Euros/person I expect to be well fed...Maybe we should have gone for a proper starter/main dish and dessert as this would have cost the same or even less. If you don't mind paying quite a bit-its perfect!

Nice staff, great food - Edit
The waiter was very nice and helpful with the food choice - we had no idea what to try ;-). We got free appetizers and a small truffle dessert. We weren't really fed up, but nevertheless, it was delicious. Would recommend it.

delicious - Edit
I had the 6-course tasting menu, it was great. The food on the plates looked like little art works. The taste of the food was without an exception delicious. The combinations were surprising and well chosen. Not only vegans and vegetarians will like this food. The staff was excellent, very nice and helpful. It is not cheap, but it was definitely worth it.

you have to visit this place - Edit
We were here for a couple of days and used Happy Cow to suggest a great place to eat on a Saturday night and Alive didn't disappoint. We went for the six course tasting menu and every one was a delight. If I had to choose a favourite it was the pea and mint ravioli. Wine list was a little pricey but on the whole really good value for money given that this is fine dining in a European capital

Delicious! - Edit
Came here the day I arrived in Vilnius, and it was such a beautiful day so we sat outside. We order Rose, two entrees, and two appetizers with a few sides of bread which was amazing, seedy and sourdough like.
Read moreThe servers spoke english very well and had a delicious meal, for all this the total came to about 27 Euros which was about 30 USD, not bad for two people at a fine dining establishment.
Pros: Fine dining

AMAZING! Must visit - Edit
On a sunny evening we chose to sit outside, amazing meal, amazing atmosphere, decor and price. You wouldn't realise it was vegan based until you examine the menu. The decoration and service and environment of the restaurant is what you would get from fine dining, there was even live music. The singer and band were fab. The presentation of the food was top notch and everything was delicious. The price was a portion of what you expect to pay (especially coming from London!)

Fantastic food - Edit
Although me and my friends are note vegan, for curiosity we decided to visit this new restaurant and certainly not disappointed at all!! Food is not only delicious but also beautifully and originally delivered. Waiter was kind and patient telling us about every ingridient which sounds very exotic. Everything was perfect, regards to chef for incredible job!!!

The place to go for all veg people! - Edit
This is a fantastic new fine dining place in Vilnius. They are 100% plant based and what they do with the food is amazing. I've heard that the chef only prepared meat dishes before starting work in this place. So it is really interesting that he can create superb plant dishes. They change the menu a lot and have specials every week so you can always have something new. I loved their signature dish - purple gnocchi and their chocolate souffle. Also, they have a spicy coconut milk soup which is to me the best soup ever. I even have daydreams about it when I am hungry.

Excellent! - Edit
Food was absolutely amazing. Even this is not a cheap fast food restaurant but the main meal from the special menu of the week is under 5 euros and that's awesome because food quality is insane. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. This is the vegan restaurant AT LEAST in Lithuania.

First vegan Fine-dining restaurant in Vilnius - Edit
ALIVE is a brand new restaurant that I was waiting for. Food is tasty and beautifully served there. Suited for special events. As in most expensive restaurants, portions are small, so one dish won't be enough to sate. My favourites: Purple Gnocchi / Caramelised Pear with Beetroot / Tempeh and Grilled Vegetable Salad / Chocolate Dessert / Panna Cotta. Though they will be changing menu from time to time, so I can't guarantee that my favs will still be there when You're reading this review.
