Permanently closed - Edit
I got there today (Friday in January 2024) at 4pm and the place was closed. No information at the entrance why is it closed. According to the Google maps information it should be open. I went to their Facebook page and it's closed permanently. They announced closing down in October and that they are hoping someone else will take over. I was so disappointed that it was closed, I traveled for nothing.

Alive Bistro have made the last two nights of my stay (and that of my two non-vegan friends) a pleasure! There are plenty of vegan options for starters mains and dessert and all of the ones we tried were delicious, if they were open all week we could have dined here all week! If you visit gozo, support them! I'd love to see them thriving when I return!

The best place on the whole island - Edit
There are not a lot of vegan restaurants in Gozo but thanks to this place it’s not even bad as you could go there every time you want to eat out it’s so delicious and they have a huge selection. We got the beyond meat burger it came with fried and a delicious salat and a chicken wrap just by it’s self was amazing! As desert we got the snickers cake cheese cake and it was just amazing!

Menu is extensive and mostly vegan. Lots of homemade stuff (cheese and hummus were unreal!) and the girls who run it are so lovely.

Best food in Malta - Edit
It was hands down my best vegan experience in Malta. The majority of the menu is vegan, and they also have vegan cakes! Everything we tried was delicious, lemonade included. It's a perfect place to sit and relax after a hike or a day spent on the beach. The staff is really friendly as well and they play some nice, relaxing music.

A sweet little corridor style bistro with extra kerbside seating. The owner and staff are lovely. Super tasty real cooking, not fast food; though they also do great burgers fries. Cakes are superb, made with love, as is the coffee. Also a range of goods to buy. 90% plant based 🌱💚🌏

This place is great. I had a sweet potato and falafel salad and my partner had a vegan lasagne. Both tasted great and clearly home made with fresh ingredients. Desserts were also incredible, with so many vegan options!

Favourite place on Gozo for vegan food! - Edit
We had our best dinner of the trip here and have ordered delivery a couple of times as well as we weren’t staying close by. Definitely recommend eating in if you can as the atmosphere was lovely (and if you’re a cat lover you will be spoilt with the local cats coming to say hello). We have tried everything from the salads to the wraps and all was delicious, but the real star was the raw chocolate vegan cake which was heaven. Also loved the homemade lemonades and the fact we could pick up some oat milk to take home. Would give 10 stars if we could!

A lot of choice for vegans and vegetarians: salads, wraps, shepherd's pie, bowls. My lentil burrito was excellent! Very pleasant staff. There were also quite a few delicious looking vegan cakes but I didnt try.

It has nice vegan wraps, vegan burgers, lovely desserts, most of which are vegan. The staff is also very friendly! The only weird thing is that it is labeled "vegetarian restaurant" on Google even though they serve fish (tuna).

We had some delicious raw vegan cake here and iced coffee/homemade lemonade! They also offer a lot of other vegan options, also on the savory side, which looked pretty good, too! Staff was very kind, would definitely come back here :)

We’ve had a wrap and a burrito plus strawberry and lemon mint lemonades. Service was nice and friendly. Portions were bigger than we anticipated. You cant go wrong with wraps and we enjoyed our time there.

Fresh food, many vegan options - Edit
I has a lentil sald, which was quite a big portion! I missed a little more flavor though and maybe some bread on the side. Anyways, it was still tasty and super fresh. They also habe vegan burgers, a pie, lots of daily specials, salads, wraps and more. Definitely recommended.
