I can’t understand how this place has such good reviews, all I can think of is maybe people just come here to take an aesthetic picture of the ‘cafe’.
Read moreFood was bland and portions were SO small. Coffee was watery and didn’t taste like anything at all, 50k for a coffee that’s smaller than my palm was a blame. I can’t even talk about the smoothie bowls, they were expensive, small and had very little toppings (in a country where fresh fruit is cheap, surely you can add more than three minimal slices of dragon fruit?).
The music was SO loud!!! It’s 9am and you’re on a busy road, you really don’t need to have the music so so loud, there’s enough noise already coming from everywhere.
The only good thing about this place was the waitress who was nice and kind, but she was left by herself at peak breakfast hour with the cafe full of people.
Wouldn’t recommend nor go back.

Tofu scramble - Edit
The “toast” wasn’t toasted, just warmed? The tofu had a good flavour but soaked the bread. 😢 I also had a soy latte, it was really foamy and had so much sweetener in it, which was a little unpleasant.

The space is really nice, has an upstairs and a downstairs area. I’d come here for a Bali coffee again.

I was somewhat hesitant about having dinner here due to the previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised! The manager was so lovely and the restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. I got the bread with dips to start and the tempeh bbq sandwich as a main. Everything was tasty and the portions were larger than any other I’ve had on the island.

‘Vegan’ burger had dairy cheese on - Edit
Specifically said no cheese. They took it back and said they would make a new one but obviously gave me the same one as it came within 2 minutes and still bits of cheese on.

Wouldn't recommend for coffee or food - Edit
Went here after we found it on Google as being a good place for coffee and breakfast. After we placed our order, another staff member told us they had no coffee so would need to go get some and it might take 10 minutes. We weren't in a rush and happy to wait. Our food arrived in the meantime and half the items were missing from both our plates. My partner really wanted mushrooms and so when I mentioned it, the staff looked unsure and went to look at the menu and eventually came back with mushrooms but didn't comment on the rest of the food that was missing 🤷🏼♀️ The food was incredibly salty then when our coffee arrived that was really disappointing. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

Cute cafe on the main road, friendly staff. I had the dragon smoothie bowl and it was filling. I would have preferred more toppings but it was tasty. Had an iced latte with soy and it was perfect for the roasting morning. Smoothie bowl is 60k and iced latte 30k so pretty standard prices!
