Alice's Organic Vegetarian Restaurant
Little place specializing in raw vegan food and dessert. Offers wheatgrass, gotu kola and sprout shots. Makes kombucha and kimchi. Aside from honey (which is an option on all items), the non-vegan items on the menu are egg white pizza and tradition koi soi with egg noodle. Air conditioned indoor area with full bar. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-12:00am.

Manager is horrible to staff - Edit
The portions are large but that's good as it meets the price you are paying. It's tasty food but I'd give it a miss as the owner is absolutely horrible and treats his staff like crap.
The American owner was sitting next to us with a friend and he was being really rude about the waitress when she was in earshot. He was loudly talking about how they needed to hire another waitress and that they "have to get a girl in here that can speak English properly and she's gotta have a pretty face". I was looking over in partial disgust at his comment and only then realised he was he owner cause then he said they needed a new waitress "because this one can't take orders properly" and pointed right at her. He then started speaking to her in slow loud English as if she was an idiot. Like I get she's working in a place that probably serves majority English speaking customers but appreciate that you're in Thailand, and don't treat your staff with such disrespect!
But it seems he's just rude all around as when we were discussing ordering dessert he butted in on our private conversation and condescends told us to read the menu properly because the desserts we were going to ask for weren't available and only some of them were. Again, fair input but don't cut in on our conversation in such a manner.
The first time I went everything was fine but I was gutted I had given him money. We didn't leave a tip as we suspected the poor girl wouldn't see any of it!
Pros: food is good, big portions, organic
Cons: expensive, manager is horrible

slightly disappointed - Edit
lacks the vibe i enjoy at most health food places, felt more like a bar. the salad i got was enormous however way overpriced considering i could have made it at home easily, tasted ok but not truly exciting or satisfying.
i will say that the majority of the menu was not too pricey but what i ordered was too expensive for what it was.
Pros: large portions , nice staff
Cons: odd vibe

vego restaurant in red light district - good food & nice staff - Edit
this is small restaurant with a street-front pool table ... there was no massaman curry on the menu so I had the pumpkin curry with brown rice (฿180) and it was delicious ... the price was not cheap however both the quality and quantity of the food were very good ... the staff were friendly and were keen to chat about the food ... while I won't be back every day I certainly will be eating there every time I visit Chiang Mai
Pros: lots of vegan options, good food & friendly staff
Cons: red light district may not be suitable for everyon

Raw Specialists - Edit
This place may not fit into New Age Mentality but if you simply want the best, healthiest and most creative food in Chiang Mai Province then this is the place. I recommend Cheesecake and Super Salads.
Pros: Quality, Taste, Super Food Friendly

Tasty but pricey - Edit
Food is very nice, but pricy! A big LCD tv is showing Music video's turning the place into a dance floor instead of a relaxing dining atmosphere.
Pros: Tasty, lots of options
Cons: TV

Vegan and raw friendly - Edit
Tiny little restaurant in the red light district, easy to spot thanks to large signs out front proclaiming "vegan" and "superfoods"! Actual eating area is set back a bit from the road behind a pool table out front. Inside, large TV playing loud pop music videos and only a couple of tables to sit at. Menu is large with many raw and/or vegan dishes, all clearly marked. Pad thai was pretty good. Only one dessert option on menu was available - the raw vegan passion fruit/banana/coconut cheesecake - it was served still partially frozen in the center but tasted delicious regardless.
Pros: Lots of raw and vegan dishes
Cons: Location in red light district

Nice place with live music on the Red Light Street. Very healthy style Vegan Food for a change. If you are a fitness person then this place is for you.
Pros: Quality, Location

Loved - Edit
So much better the the other regular type or to put it bluntly the backpacker type veggie restaurants in Chiang Mai. This place outscores them all on quality and ingenuity. I understand this type of food since I am a practicing clinical nutritionalist. I loved the Kao Soi with the vegan option noodle. Clearly the best I tasted in Thailand. The Raw Cheesecake I had to order a second to take home. This place is just plain cool. I actually like the crazy location on Loi Kroh Rd. Plenty of action. The inside is air conditioned btw.
Pros: Great High End Quality Food, Location, Lovely Staff

Top meal - Edit
Great experience, awesom food and lovely staff. We ordered raw eggplant lasagna and raw zucchini spagehtti which was delicious. The prices are resonable given the fact that everything is organic and free from toxins no white sugar no msg. If you love vegetarian meals please check out Alice

Raw Vegan Super Foods - Edit
Can't say enough about this place. It is different than any other Vegan place in CNX. It serves Top Shelf alcohol! They are in the Red Light District but still a must go if you understand nutrition and the need for high quality Vegan food. Try one of the the Super Salads with cooked marinated Tempeh you won't be disappointed. The Raw Dessert were also amazing. They have a small shelf that offers a few products for the vegan traveler. Recommend
Pros: Super Foods, Red Light Street, Serve Patron and Grey Goose as well as Wheatgrass
Cons: Red Light Street?

So Good - Edit
This place is the bomb. I have read others that complain about this place but I still have no clue why. The prices are fair or even cheap for the quality served. This is the only serious Raw Vegan Restaurant that I have personally been to in Chiang Mai. If you want Super Foods and that type of fitness food this is the place. I personally loved the veggie burger made with over 30 ingredients. Whole Grain bun option with vegan cheese option. They also sell all types of super food powders rarely seen in Thailand. Highly recommend:)
Pros: Raw Vegan/Vegan, Super Foods, Air Conditioned
Cons: Not a lot of space but enough

very disappointing - Edit
I had a raw super salad which was ok (but overpriced) and a burger - probably the worst burger I've ever had. The patty was so dry it crumbled when trying to cut it, bread was hard as a rock and the while burger was so tiny I wouldn't even consider it an appetizer.
The worst part about the experience though, was the place itself; you are practically eating between a pool table and a bar - quite weird to promote healthy eating and getting drunk in the same spot. And then there's the owner - really intense type, loud and with no sense of situation, he really makes the atmosphere unpleasant.
Overall a really bad experience that cost me 780 baht - an amount that will buy you a weeks worth of decent vegan meals elsewhere in Chiang Mai.

Disappointing - Edit
We were very excited to see the vegan signage as we walked down the street and to be fair the Super Super salad was fantastic but the rest of the experience was not great. There is a very strange atmosphere to the place partly caused by the owner who was quite intense. The salad was lovely but everything else we ordered was either tasteless or very bitter and unpleasant. A shame.

Loved it - Edit
I guess not everyone on this site can appreciate this place like I do. This place as well as staff and owner are surely different. The food in my opinion is the healthiest vegan food in Chiang Mai. I may not be the cheapest but then again neither is a steak. Their Raw Food Menu is one of a kind and worth a visit. It's in The Red Light District so easy to find.
Pros: unique menu, easy to find, Raw Vegan Food
Cons: Not really street food prices

Here, no meat options... Only good RAW food !!! - Edit
I discovered this place by hazard.
I was very happy when I browsed the menu because it was really RAW food dishes.
Fresh, creative and tasty!
Not like other places I've tried who claim that they are vegan, organic and vegetarian but offer you a meat option for 40 bahts or simply change the chicken for tofu instead.
The portions are big.
Power zucchinis pasta, energetic salads and desserts are yummy^^
For me it's a place to discover but if you are waiting to eat in a meditation place with crystal, candles and incenses everywhere, it's not for you.
This place is different and that's why it is so special.
Super Raw Food Genius's at this strange little place and concept.
Pros: REAL, RAW, FOOD
Cons: NOTHING, TO, SAY

Purrboat 21 May 2016 - If you were ignored then how could the owner ignore you? He was in the way! No one told you to order on FB. That is not possible. What you were told was if you wanted raw vegan dessert and you wanted it not frozen ( all raw vegan desserts are due to their nature ) to pre order. Of course you did not. Move along little one:-)
