Hands down, this was my favorite place to eat in Mexico City. Amazing flavors, fantastic menu of choices, nice atmosphere, friendly service. Would go back again and again if it wasn’t my last day in town.

I was excited that this place was walking distance from our hotel. We stopped on our first and last days in CDMX, and our server recognized us from the first time. Some of them speak a good amount of English.
Read moreThe menu is large and it’s all delicious. The hotcakes and omelettes are perfect for starting your day of adventures. The club sandwich is very good too. You must get mochas in mexico, they are the best in the world! This is the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch.
Overall this was one of our best experiences! Nice quiet location and community. Great service.

The food was very good, however the portions were small. We left hungry despite the very high prices. I will always support vegan restaurants but there are so many better options within walking distance that I’d recommend skipping this place.

A HIDDEN GEM!! A prefect way to end a vacation - Edit
If the phrase “Hidden Gem” was in the dictionary, this place would be the example! The welcoming atmosphere, paired with the excellent service from the two staff members, made the experience outstanding. The wait time was a little bit long & prices are a little bit more than other vegan restaurants but the food made up for it. The menu items we had were there “CAULIFLOWER WINGS”, “TOFU BURRITO ALGUITO”, the “ENCHILADAS WITH MEXICAN TOFU” & the “HOT CAKES”

Breakfast for four, and then we took food for a late lunch. My hot chocolate would have been better with more cocoa and the bottom hot cake was burnt, but everything else was wonderful. The late lunch food was great! Between breakfast and lunch we had multiple types of tacos, enchiladas, hot cakes, fruit and more. Service was very friendly but the food was slow to come. The restaurant is really vegan but they fail to change the designation on Happy Cow.

I had the BEST vegan omelette ever with asparagus and vegan cheese at this sweet restaurant located on a leafy residential street. We took advantage of the idyllic weather and brunched at one of Alguito’s several outdoor tables. There is more seating inside. The dirty chai was delicious and my friend’s tofu scramble came with a cloth basket of freshly made tortillas. We shared a half order of fruit. Everything was tasty and artfully presented. The waitstaff were very friendly.

Se ve que este lugar es para extranjeros ya que los precios están altísimos. Un burrito básico $280, unas enchiladas $350 pesos. Un jugo tamaño miniatura en $60 pesos, dos tacos $170 pesos. Las porciones son más pequeñas de lo normal, me pusieron UN totopo partido en pedazos en la cucharada de frijoles que me pusieron. No vuelvo.

The food at Alguito Vegano was top notch. The attention was also great. That being said, the prices were what we would have paid in Miami, FL. Wouldn’t go back because the portions were also not proportional to those prices.

Fantastic small family-run business. You can truly feel the love they put into everything. We had four tacos that were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the pastor and the milanesa. We also had a torta, which was the best I’ve ever had. We even ordered hot dogs, and the presentation was incredible—something you wouldn't typically expect with hot dogs! They brought out three tiny squirt bottles of mayo, ketchup, and mustard, and I couldn't get over how cute they were! Photo attached.

Great Food, bit of a rushed Experience - Edit
The food is great, even though it’s a bit on the pricier side. One thing we noticed was that the staff kind of rushed us both times we went there. Right after I ate the last bite of my food, the server already took my plate and wiped half the table while my friend was still eating. Once she finished, the server took her plate and wiped the whole table while she was still finishing her drink.

En la carta, convenientemente no muestran fotos de los platillos.
Todo lo que pedí estaba mega desabrido, sin sal y ya saben, la salsa más picosa, no pica.
La leche dorada, 85 pesos y la leche te la cobran aparte! 20 pesos más, y en sí ni sabía a leche dorada.
Muy amables, pero no volvería, no tienen buen sazón, ni vale la pena lo que cobran por lo que dan.

Muy buenos chilaquiles, enchiladas, y todo tipo de comida. Las setas son buenísimas. También tienen varios quesos veganos hechos en casa. El queso manchego es excelente y único. Sirven algo que se llama ‘no pollo’ como relleno que son Nuggets veganos que no parece ser casero pero sabe igual a pollo. Su café viene de unas mujeres agricultores en la sierra de Oaxaca. Lo único que no nos gustó fue los jugos que tenían un sabor raro.
