Kind of a Fail - Edit
I stopped here mid-afternoon Friday for a late lunch at Algorithm and a draft at Philadelphia Brewing Company where they were set up. When I ordered my beer the nice folks in the brewery recommended the Nashville Hot sandwich, but only if I like spicy hot. That sounded great so that's what I did. The two folks in the food truck seemed overwhelmed even though there was no one in line but me. It took me about five minutes just to get my sandwich order in. They took my phone number and told me they would text me in ten minutes when the sandwich is ready. So I sat down and enjoyed my beer, and sat, and sat... No text for a half hour or more. Finally I go back out to the food truck and ask about my food. It turned out it was sitting there getting cold for over a half hour - they forgot to text me. OK, s**t happens, I get it. So I take my cold sandwich back into the brewery to eat. It may be partly because it sat for so long, but the seitan was spongy and watery without any semblance of good taste. The roll was just an off-the-shelf potato roll. The pickles and slaw were just OK. The worst is that it wasn't even close to spicy hot (that wouldn't change with the cooling down temperature). What should have happened? Once they realized they screwed up by not texting me, they should have immediately fired another order. For a $14+ sandwich, that's the least one should expect - to get a warm sandwich.

Good Cheezsteak - Edit
I caught up with Algorithm at a Mercy Vegan pop-up in Allentown. I had s sandwich Philly style. The bread was delicious, the mushroom seitan filling excellent.

Hit and miss - Edit
I really liked the big blue tacos, but wasn't a fan of the cheese fries and really wasn't a fan of the smoked carrot "hot dog" it was too smoked to even eat.

Great Nashville Hot - Edit
I loved the Nashville Hot sandwich. The seitan had a very unique texture that I enjoyed - it was light and airy rather than dense and chewy which made for a pleasant experience. Looking forward to trying other items.

Simply amazing - Edit
Holy crap!! We had Algorithm at the Ludwigs Corner Carnival - and literally ordered one of everything on the menu - no joke. It was I. N. C. R. E. D. I. B. L. E. I wish I took photos of the picnic table full of boxes but we all dug in so fast it wouldn't have done the food justice.
Read moreThe watermelon tuna tacos are out of this world - as was the crispy tofu tacos. The burger and Reuben were for everyone - carnivores wouldn't know. My little girls, who are the pickiest vegans - loved the cheesesteak, fries the beet ketchup (what?) and the libertine burger (the 'bacon' looks scarily real) and the breakfast sandwich.
The Oreo bread pudding... omgggggggg you'd think it would be super sweet but it's not. It's dangerously addictive. So glad we got one of the only ones they had tonight!
The Vietnamese coffee is no joke. Smooth and STRONG. Good gawd!
The staff was incredibly kind to boot. They need to be closer to the burbs - or franchise!! I'd invest!
Pros: Variety, Taste, Customer service
Cons: Not enough belly room

Highly recommend - Edit
All A1 vegan ingredients here. That Calabrian sauce is everything! Wish I could buy it by the jar. It's the sauce that's in the cheesesteak, so it gives it a nice kick compared to a traditional cheesesteak. Their food boxes and utensils are compostable too, so that's another win.

Amazing - Edit
I was worried this place wasnt 100% vegan, but I contacted them on instagram and they ensured me that they were.
Read moreI got the bacon burger and the taco sampler. The burger was so good. If I wasnt sure it was vegan, the bacon would have freaked me out. It looks a lot like non-vegan bacon.
The tacos were all really good too. I did think the watermelon tuna was kind of weird. Like, it was good, but maybe the chunks were too big.
They seem to pop up all around the city, so I reccomend giving them a try
Pros: Vegan food truck, Very good food, Accessible
Cons: Kind of expensive
