The pasta dish with sweet tomato sauce was very tasty, accompanied with a glass of cold rose wine, it was all I needed for lunch :-)

The staff was very accommodating and happy to substitute vegan cheese for other cheeses. We had vegan cheese garlic bread, spaghetti and a pizza. The pizza was huge and the base cooked to perfection.

Sadly they had run out of vegan cheese but got the tomato pasta since someone said it was the best they’d ever had 😂 & it was good (flavoursome for a tomato pasta).

Wouldn’t think they do vegan!! - Edit
Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in Abufeira… probably the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had, and the tastiest spaghetti I’ve had for a long long time. Good friendly service, incredible tasting food, and reasonable prices! Loved it, and will be back in April!!

The food was delicious, but at first it didn’t feel like a completely “safe” place for vegans since the menu doesn’t mention any vegan options. Luckily, our waiter Márcio was very knowledgeable and reassuring — he knew exactly what was vegan, right down to the details of which pastas contain eggs and which don’t. He also told us the cheese they use is Violife, which was great to know.

That said, the food itself exceeded expectations — I had never seen a pizza with so much vegan cheese before!

We came here twice as the food was so good the first time. Nothing on the menu is specified as vegan though, but the waiter seemed to understand, and was checking with the chef. We got the focaccia without cheese dip and the spaghetti pomodoro which the waiter said was vegan. The second time we visited we asked for the same and specified vegan (it was a different waiter) but I’m convinced there was parmesan mixed in with the pomodoro sauce. I could be wrong, but it tasted different/a bit cheesy and I couldn’t eat it. So just be super careful. A lot of people here don’t seem to get veganism.

No vegan cheese - Edit
I wanted to come here because I heard they had vegan cheese, but when I went in they didn’t have any. I don’t know if they just didn’t have it the day that I went in, or if they don’t carry vegan cheese at all? They showed me different options of food that I could get, but none of it sounded very good without vegan cheese added. If you want risotto or pasta or pizza without cheese, then they can do that, but I would say just find another place to eat at.
Read moreI got the margherita pizza without cheese, and it tasted good for being tomato sauce, basil and bread, but I would recommend checking out a different place or taking a taxi a bit farther out of the strip of restaurants in this area. There are better options further out from that area in Albufeira.

Read moreThe food came out fresh and quick. Extremely delicious and left with full bellies. The outdoor seating was lovely in the beautiful weather. The meal for lunch for the two of us came to €25 then added a cash tip. Would very much recommend to vegans visiting the area.
