Great location, less great food - Edit
Alex is located in the old city centre of Koblenz and is the perfect place to watch people stroll past and enjoy a coffee or cocktail. Unfortunately vegan options are rare and only include basics like soup, salad and a curry with vegetables. I had the superfood salad and thanks to the figs, goji berries and pomegranate it was incredible sweet with no salty component to equal the flavours. Sadly, the service was horrendous, slow and multiple drinks were forgotten before and during our meal.

Rare Breakfast Options - Edit
Getting a vegan breakfast is rather a Challenge than a Joy. There are No labels at the buffet, the allergy advices help a little, but you can't find out if there is gelatin in the jam. If you want oat milk for your muesli you need to ask the staff. The second star is just for the helpful staff.

Nice restaurant at a good spot. Only one vegan main dish: curry with vegetables. For that reason only 3 stars. The dish itself was good. The homemade lemonades are really too sweet and too chemical, I won’t recommend them.

The restaurant was fine but rather one you go to with your meat eating family/friends because there was only very little vegan stuff.
