Very tasty unique pastries. They do a meal deal of £10 for a drink, sweet and savoury.

I entered another dimension when I took my very first bite of pizza.
Read moreThe flavour, the taste and the quality of the food here was next level.
We had two ciabatta BLTs, a slice of chicken and mushroom pizza, a chai latte and a green smoothie.
The service was a little chaotic with a new member of staff, but otherwise it was a lovely visit.
Pros: The quality of the food., Outside seating.
Cons: Chaotic service, Emergency cord not touching floor in access toilet

Excellent pizza - Edit
We went to the King’s rd one. It was a lovely area and we could sit outside and enjoy our pizza. We ordered the wild mushroom and garlic pizza. I was going to ask if it was enough for two and it certainly was. The flavours all mixed well together and the dough was perfect. It didn’t droop at all. Nice and hot too. I also ordered a coffee and cronut from their bakery. Both were great. The cronut had some lovely chocolate filling. Yum.

Have been getting bread & treats from Hay Market for years. Always excellent quality. Thought I’d have to give up the croissants since going Vegan. But it turns out everything they make is plant based! My heart is happy, my waistline is expanding.

Sublime baking! - Edit
Discovering the Alex Gooch bakery stall in the weekly Hay on Wye market was the best experience! We walked past the delicious looking breads and above all, world's best croissants .. assuming they were not for vegans. Casually asking if they did anything vegan, the super efficient servers said that everything is 100% vegan and also organic.
Read moreCan scarcely believe our luck, Thursdays have become the big treat mornings as a result.. fabulous almond croissants, generously made and then there's the perfect ciabatta... a delight. If we lived near Cardiff, we'd be breakfasting regularly at the Alex Gooch cafe. Everything we've tried from the bakery has been truly wonderful.
Pros: The best croissants ever, It's all vegan!, Great ingredients
Cons: Nothing to dislike

The sweet treats are a delight.
I've visited a few times now and still trying new foods each time, as there is always something different on.
Dog-friendly tables available - our Kodi had a doggie treat and received some friendly pets from a staff member 🥰
The staff members are always cheery, chatty and attentive, even when the bakery is at peak times.
A blooming wonderful place all round.

The most delicious pastries and breads with great coffee! It’s so nice not having to ask for a milk alternative as there’s no animal products on the menu! Plus it’s dog friendly with free treats which our boy loves!

Tried their chocolate Cronx and 1st Cronx in my life and wow it's great! It's a bit pricy but worth it. It tastes exactly like a croissant.
