Lovely - Edit
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. We shared three tapas which were all very good, well seasoned and prepared with care. We had a slice of chocolate, coffee and rum cake which came with cream and berries. It was wonderfully light and tasted amazing.

Best hot chocolate and vegan cake EVER - Edit
We were so relieved to find this vegan gem in Portugal after many days of struggling to find good food out here. We’d already cooked dinner so didn’t try main dinner but they had chilli and quinoa or baked tofu on offer and what looked like a lovely menu. What we did have was the hot choclate and red velvet cake which were just exquisite served with cream and raspberries so so so so good gorgeous atmosphere and cosy environment a must try!!

Great place! - Edit
We visited the Mel & Limão after 3 pm, so we arrived late for lunch. We tasted the red berries cake and two smoothies: everything was delicious! What impressed me here was the place: it's so cozy, beautiful decor, and educational with a lot of books and information about veganism. I'll return for lunch or dinner!

so good we went twice in one day! - Edit
Small but tasty, fully vegan menu including mains (we had burgers), tapas, cakes and drinks. Lovely vibe inside, outdoor seating with a nice view of the square, and very friendly staff. Food was fresh and healthy. Highly recommend!

Food really good but... - Edit
We hunted out this Vegan cafe and really enjoyed the food, unfortunately the service was really slow. Thankfully we weren't in a rush but if they could speed things up that would be a big improvement.

Best vegan tapas - Edit
We came here last suturday and we enjoyed so much the fine taste of delicious vegan food! Tried 5 different tapas, at 1 we had the bes hummus .. then a portugiese veganised dish Pica pau, tabouleh , delicious salad with veggie pattys ..bruschetta a curry , mushroom sauteed with tofu .home made ice tea, chocolate cherry cake and green tea. Each and every dish has own charm and distinctive combination of fresh ingredients and spices. My very best recommendation as veganBistro in the area, Algarve Portugal.

Don’t go in the evenings - Edit
Saturday evening they only had tapas ( small plates ) everything based on soy ( for those who are allergic to soy there isn’t much to eat - no fresh smoothies or juices in the weekends. We went out of there hungry and my housband with stomach ache from soy and mushrooms... sorry to write this. I’m all for vegan and I wish we vegans could be satisfied after food( not only rice or salad)

Vegan top restaurant - Edit
I had a 5 hour layover in Faro and I was in the need of an early dinner. I was lucky enough to find this vegan restaurant. It is cozy, and it has an awesome decoration. The staff was really nice and provided a fresh pasta salad with legumes and peas, seasoned with soya yoggurt, even though I came there too early for the dinner menu. I truly recommend this restaurant :)
