Vegan Pilgrims heaven - Edit
I’d been there in Oct 2022, so this is a late review, but I really want to leave it because I had a wonderful experience there. It is a very welcoming and beautiful Albergue. The lady was happy to do a vegan version of the community dinner „because it‘s vegans who change the world“ - so I got an extra vegan quiche just for myself. The whole dinner was delicious. Also for breakfast they will offer you the vegan option if you ask for. I got a vegan jogurt on the Camino 😍

We called in advance and mentioned that one of us was vegan, and although the community dinner is only vegetarian, they made vegan options for me for every single course! We had salad with nuts and avocado, mushroom soup, lentil Bolognese and vegan quiche, wine and sorbet for 12€ in total. The food was delicious and made with love, and the two owners are very lovely. A definite must if you’re on Camino primitivo.

This albergue was a great point of strength and joy for me on my Primitivo route. Incredibly soulful communal dinner with wine and some home tradition of the hosts. Yes, and all was vegetarian.

A lo largo del CAMINO PRIMITIVO he comido vegetariano en 4 sitios, siendo este uno de ellos y uno de los mejores, sin lugar a duda. (Comento los otros lugares por si os son de ayuda: Albergue Bodenaya, Casa Manolo en Fonsagrada, y Casa Herminia en Campiello).
Read moreAdemás de que la pareja de holandeses que lo regenta son un amor, el lugar es acogedor y tranquilo, y la comida bastante currada: una crema para comenzar, quiché de verduras, pasta con el mejor pisto que he probado en ma vida, ensalada, y de postre un yogur de limon con fresas casero. DELICIOSO.
Debería ser parada obligatoria para vegetarinos y veganos...bueno, para todos.💚😍
