Good food but a few negative points...

The food was good, everything is vegan and the cook was very friendly.

But, the portions were super small and therefore expensive for what it was... No toilets... The menu is in Indonesian, so quite complicated to make a choice 😉🙈 (even google translate had some translation problems 🤣).

Pros: 100% 🌱 , Balinese food

Cons: Small portions, expensive, No toilets

Tasty and good portions

The food tastes nice and very good portion sizes. The woman spoke good English and was able to explain dishes as the menu is Indonesian (check the happy cow pic for English menu translation) only thing is the food took a while to come even though we were the only ones in there. The menu is also a la crate rather than individual meals. For example I wanted a bit of rice, veggies and protein but I had to order 3 separate plates. So I had a plate of veggies and ordered some plain steamed rice (10k rather than 30k for rice dish) then a protein on the side. All very tasty though

Pros: Fully vegan, Tasty dishes

Cons: Took a while , A la carte menu

I didn't know how much I missed Chinese food until we ate here

Alay vegetarian is fully vegan, they have a lot of meat replacement dishes, from spicy chicken all the way to goat rendang. Great place, great food. We used Google translate on the menu (see picture) and had an easy time from then on.

Pros: Unique vegan options, Good price

Cons: No bathroom

Good and cheap

Simple good dishes for a cheap price. That's perfect! 25K the plate. Don't hesitate to ask the owner to explain each dish.

Recommended!

Very small, and very good. Menu hard to understand (no english version), be prepared to use a dictionary. We were not sure about the "fake" meat because it seemed so real, but the guy was very friendly and even showed the package of the things he used. Very tasty buddhist cuisine, completely vegan to our understanding even if hard to believe!

Local indonesian food

Although we had to wait quite long for our food, it was worth it. The fake meat is delicious, we can especially recommend Siobak as it is a local north bali favourite. The menu says vegetarian but if you ask the staff it turns out there are quite a few vegan options!

Great fake meat

Don’t usually do fake meat, but reading other reviews, I had a go- and it was the best fake meat I’ve had since travelling in Asia last 7 months . It’s a bit of a lottery choosing food, but it was all very tasty (and not oily as some fake meat can be).
Note: when they say spicy....they mean it!!! (And I’ve got Srilankan blood!!!!)

Pros: Pure vegetarian , Lovely staff

Cons: Non- English menu

Good food

The location is both a plus and a disadvantage: right on the main road so easy to find, but also a lot of traffic noise.
The food is very good, and reasonably priced. Recommended!

Best Vegan Place in Lovina

It was such a delicious meal. They have the best mock meat we've tried in whole Bali. It's very clean and they have the local prices. Staff speaks English and very helpful too. Definitely go back to eat there again before we leave.

No English Menu

There is no menu in English so we had the waiter explain a few things till we found something that sounded nice. He had good enough english to explain and the food was nice, however it's difficult to truly appreciate the place when you don't know what they are serving.

Pros: good food

Cons: no english
