good food and cheap prices - Edit
Friendly staff. The falafel is vegan, but the pita bread is not. Best tahini! Cheap prices.

Amazing food - Edit
Everything was excellently prepared with lots of care. Incredibly flavorful. Excellent service. Marketplace around entrance threw me but I ended up shopping there while I waited and bought some things I hadn’t been able to find.

So good!!! - Edit
Clearly marked vegetarian options and many of them. They have a buffet Thursdays and Sundays with a seperate table for the vegetarian food. If you tell the server you want the vegetarian buffet only it is a discounted price. Delicious.

Hidden gem - Edit
We had a wonderful meal here! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and I’m so glad we decided to come. They bring out hot and fluffy pita bread right away and we ordered hummus as an appetizer. My husband and I both got vegan pitta sandwiches and they come with vegan lentil soup. To top it all off our bill was only $19.80! Highly recommend!

Loved the vegetarian platter - Edit
Wide variety of vegetarian options and is connected to a middle eastern grocery store. Glad I found this place, and offers a buffet with vegetarian choices on Thursday and Sunday.

Vegan items now clearly marked on menu&pita bread is 100% vegan - Edit
A new menu with clearly marked vegan items. Pita bread is 100% vegan now and the lentil soup is 100% vegan. Will offer cucumber slices instead for someone who is gluten free. An extremely delicious falafel and a very inexpensive meal. Highly recommend!

Yum! - Edit
Had a delicious spread here including falafel, hummus, stuffed grape leaves. A friend who is “in the know” said she thinks the pita is now vegan. I didn’t take the chance— mine was carry out that my husband picked up. I will definitely eat here again and ask!

Double check the ingredients - Edit
I'm not sure who wrote the description for this place but I was just there and had them check to make sure their pita bread was vegan, and it was not. They had no vegan bread to eat the appetizers with. They did bring out cucumber at our request, but it was only a few slices and not enough for 2 people. The falafel, however, was amazing, and the best I've ever had. I just don't want vegans to get the wrong impression by thinking they are free to eat there. Please make sure you double check the ingredients!!

Love this place - Edit
One of the best places "in the region". Adjacent to its Middle Eastern market (with awesome deals on spices) is Aladdin Pita. Yummy complimentary appetizers, great falafel sandwiches, and the lentil soup is delicious no matter what time of year you visit. It's a kid friendly location, with butcher paper on the tables, good for kid drawings or the grocery list you might have forgotten to write down.

Consistently Great Food - Edit
I've been coming here for years. The quality of the food is always high. Front counter staff are friendly and efficient. I appreciate that they have so many specially marked veg*n options on the menu.
Read moreWhen you first walk in, you'll notice that the front part of the space is a small store featuring all manner of middle eastern groceries. They sell fabulous walnut and pistacio baklava that they import from a bakery in Chicago's north suburbs. Also specialty candies from the middle east and all kinds of staples like hummos, bags of pine nuts, etc.
The area where the place could use improvement is its cleanliness. When you first open the front door, it's greasy. Gross. And not a good first impression. The little plastic seat in the waiting area seems to always have bugs lodged in the crevice. And the place sometimes smells like smoke.
