I had a morning and afternoon where I needed somewhere to wait and so had both breakfast and lunch. They do indeed have vegan options, including the vegan croissant. They’re all right. The lunch isn’t such a great value, though you can do much, much worse once on the islands of Venice. It tasted all right, though if this is truly the authentic carbonera that other reviewers mention then the dish itself is simply nothing so special. The service was kind and they didn’t mind how I hung around much of the day, which I appreciated. If you get the lunch menu the salad comes with egg, so just be sure to ask. I wouldn’t go to the trouble to return.

Don’t go out of your way. The vegan carbonara mentioned in other reviews must only be a lunch offering? Otherwise a bruschetta with veggies but no source of protein so wasn’t very filling. Wait staff completely disappeared into the back for >45 minutes, we wanted to order more drinks and were the only customers there but the staff didn’t make a single appearance. I don’t have North American expectations for service but we had to chase down the waiter once we finally caught her back from a smoke break.

There was only 1 vegan option. Something between a salad and a pizza. Tasted great but I went there because of the other reviews. Disappointed.

The vegan carbonara was the best I've every had. I mean it, the actual best... and I'm Italian.
Read moreIt was perfectly al dente, creamy and not sticky, and really, really tasty. They pair it with salad and a coffee at the end.
They also have vegan croissants for breakfast that are not just plain but with different filings. I tried almonds and figs.
I came back and had the most delicious vegan bruschetta and vegan grilled sandwich with grilled vegetables.

When we first went there on a monday evening they were closed even though google said they’re open. However we went there the next morning and ordered a Cappuccino with soy milk a croissant for breakfast. The croissant was a bit dry but still tasty. The next day we tried the vegan spaghetti carbonara and ih was sooooo delicious!! I really recommend this place. The atmophere is so nice and the staff is lovely. They don’t have many vegan options but they'll improvise and make you a vegan sandwich if you ask for it.

They don't have the carbonara every day and there's nothing else vegan on the menu. You could get a veggie sandwich/bruschetta without the cheese, hence 2 stars. Also they have plant milk for coffee. Try calling ahead I guess to check if they actually have vegan options that day.
